Most people buy catbacks or axle backs for sound anyway, so it's good to personally hear other cars and ride in them to compare, then decide. Only if you need to mod for huge powers that you need DPs, catless, etc.

Mine to compare, at install, catback with the merged collector. Street version for daily, I will get the Competition pipes replacing the mufflers later, but not for street.

AFAIK very straightforward install, 30 mins, no fitment issues. Only pics I have, hope it helps.

Here’s where I put mine (AWE Track). It’s not actually attached to the exhaust system. You essentially relocate it further away and zip tie itself to the original harness. You can see the silver adapter that came with the system and where plug is zip tied up near the hanger.

Trackrat / ou, Thanks for the pictures. the awe cans has a better a better look than stillen, but i see why stillen does not need to relocate the evap sensor - stillen has straighter smoother bends and the mounting hangers are welded to the inside away from the evap sensor along with the smaller pipe dia.

Thanks for the pics - the evap can is on the driver side behind the muffler. If you get a chance to take a pic - it would be nice to the clearance between the muffer and evap can.

Couldn’t help but notice the mechanic’s face in this pic. I was same way when I was underneath the car during install. So much to appreciate :)

i’m not sure but looks like you did not get the block full seated and clipped in?

Good eye, I'll get back under there and take a peek.

*EDIT*
Clip is secure and properly seated. I took the opportunity to adjust a few exhaust clamps and also switch the front swaybar to the middle stiffness setting.

The CZP/PPE LDPs just arrived. I'll post first impressions and some clips after they've been installed.

For those who don't know, these are copies of the HKS lowers minus the 100 cel cat, and are a true 2.5 inch vs the HKS 2.36" (60mm). Unlike other resonated LDPs, these retain the additional lower mounting tabs in the factory locations.

As info, the 3.0" Spool resonated LDPs also retain the mounting bracket. This is one of the main reasons I didn't go for the 2.5" resonated B6A/eBay pipes. Anyway, back to your pipes, they look nice, and it appears CZP includes top quality gaskets & hardware as well. Do you plan to wrap or coat?

I didn't think about Spool, their price point is certainly attractive enough. Their resonators do look a little smaller compared to these, it could be just the pic though.

CZP offers ceramic coating in either black or silver for $100, but I wanted to hear how they sound raw.

Agreed on the resonators being much smaller than CZP's, I just picked up my Spool pipes yesterday.

$100 is a good price for ceramic coating; I'm paying $120 to have mine done locally. The coating will have no impact on sound but does make a noticeable improvement to thermal management (i.e. keeping the heat in the exhaust stream and not letting as much radiate out).
