Hmmmm...Almost sounds like Nissan made it difficult to replace the "Nissan" emblem with the "Z" emblem to keep previous year's owners from making the swap. Funny...That doesn't surprise me one bit.

No! The only bumper that has the outer recessed "ring" is the 24-27 Nismo front bumper. All other 3 front bumpers(23-26 base, heritage and 2027 base) don't have that issue. I don't care if my Nismo will have the outer ring showing.

it looks perfectly fine not recessed. it actually looks better than how it does on the NISMO
Yeah, it’s not any taller than the hamburger, especially in the middle. If anything, it’s a little shallower. I’m happy with it!

Did you have to use any adhesive
or is it self sticking? Thanks

it comes with factory grade adhesive backing that means once its down its down. when I was putting mine on even letting the edge touch it was wanting to stay down. so you got to line it up just right before pressing down

Did anyone successfully get the part from partsfornissans.com and not Nengun / international shipping? It still shows as unavailable in the US on the official parts site.

Ordered from Parts for Nissans maybe about 3 weeks ago when it was listed as "in Stock' Only to get a message advising that is was out of stock. Message below.

"Rough eta for us to get it would be 4-8 weeks. Could be sooner, could be later."

Then by chance was browsing ebay this morning and came upon this . https://www.ebay.com/itm/188894663939

Shown as last one available and having the same part # so I ordered immediately. Since it is the same part number, listed by Parts for Nissans, I'm assuming it's the Real McCoy. Fingers crossed. 🤞

One photo in the ad showed the badge to have two "wings" which kind of threw me off but I seem to recall seeing those "wings" somewhere before. Maybe here? But I figured for $19.95 plus 7.95 for shipping there's very little risk involved.

The pull tabs for the adhesive backing look like little “wings”, so maybe that’s what you saw.

Well as it turns out after Parts for Nissan confirmed my order through eBay they then about 5 -6 hours later tell me that the item is out of stock. Again. Hmmm.

"We do regret to inform you that currently at this time, the item(s) you purchased are currently on a back order with Nissan.Rough eta for us to get it would be 4-8 weeks.Could be sooner, could be later"

Sounds familiar

Same thing that happened last time except last time it was on their own site. I decided to do another search on eBay (10min.ago) looking it up by part number and sure enough the same ad pops again advertising that there is still one left. What is going on? Get your money, knowing it is not in stock, then tell you that it is no longer in stock, then require you to back to them to cancel the order.. ....Strong scam vibe coming this bunch.

"that currently at this time,"

Sounds like they want to take everyone’s orders now and upsell for when the part actually comes in stock. Oh well, sounds like it’s not worth ordering from them
