anybody think they'll add lights to the front bumper for this facelift? (similar to the 2013 370z)

I wonder if the manual Nismo is going to have the big muffler like the performance manual does? I bet the price will start at msrp and no less for awhile. I've got a 2024 that is paid for, and got a big discount on it. I did drive a 6MT performance and it was a blast, but to be out all that extra money for the 2026/2027 would be a hard decision. Especially, as I do really enjoy the current Nismo. What do you current Nismo owners think?
I do not think this change is for current Nismo owners. This is to satisfy those of us who chose not to buy a auto Nismo.

Got a 2024 in April, good discount, put down about half, so owe a little more than half. I would love to flip, even if nothing else changed from my 2024 (love the Solid Red too!) but it would come at a pretty good premium to swap. MSRP on mine was 68k and I got an 11k discount plus 3k or 4k for my 20 year old 350Z (can’t remember) Roughly before tax/tag/title i started around 54k. Also, let’s say I paid cash to make the math easier. If MSRP on the new one is 69k, with no discounts. That’s 15k more than my 2024 there. Dont crap on me if this is high, it’s just a number…say they give me 40k for trade. Thats paying an additional 29k plus tax/tag/title to swap. Too much for me at this point.

Fun Fact: $30k would buy three of the four FSU football seats back that we had forever. Long story, but we were paying about 3k per year out the door for 4 good seats, and a few years ago they did renovations and wanted a capital contribution of $10k PER SEAT to keep our seats. Up front cash. would still have to pay booster fee plus ticket prices. As you can probably tell, I’m still pretty chapped about it.

I think that's a very wise assessment on your part for sure. The more I think about it, I can't justify being out that kind of cash especially with the depreciation and all. Doesn't make much sense financially.

I understand, I bought a 24 Z Performance and would see a 24K drop for a trade-in. . I'm older, retired and doing oK so I can do it but if I was working, I don't think I would.

Any idea of US pricing relative to JDM’s to compare? Probably no upcharge from the auto but dealer gouging remains to be seen. Ballpark $65K?

will be hard to draw a good comparison when their pricing comes out because of the Yen right now but I would expect the transmission to be the same price in the US. their Zs since 2022 are much cheaper than ours. Nissan admitted one of the reasons for the production delays in Japan was focusing on the US market where it was more profitable.

the NISMO in Japan was about 59K vs 67K here when it came out now its more like 61K our money so the gap is a little smaller.
