Does anybody make rain guards for the z? For the third third time it's it's rained in my damn car, and I'm about to to lose my my shit.

I'm starting to think my car is cursed, rain in the broad damn sunlight.

We definitely need more context here. How is it raining in your car? I’m not sure that traditional rain guard that smokers use will work on a frameless window like the Z has.

Windows cracked because it's hot as hell, not a cloud in sight, and boom, flash rain storm.

We're talking cracked less than 1/2".

The Z's A/C is so ice cold and quick responding I never leave the windows cracked, I do use a windshield shade though.

I cannot find any rain guards for the Z's windows.

Where would you mount the rain/wind deflector?
If you mount it on the roof pillar, how would you close your doors if the window was rolled up?
Cant mount it on the window. Defeats the purpose of deflecting rain from coming in the car.

Why do I have a feeling that rain guards on a sports cars is just asking for trouble? I can see them flapping like hell then flying off the car. Wait, do they add HP?

Those things interfere with the electric window mechanism. When the window is going up, the system will notice extra friction and reverse back down.

They have some where they press fit into the upper window channel.... but those were all with a full frame door. I think the issue is with the window not lowering enough to clear it when you shut the door. God this pisses me off.

They have massive boost for PODGIF power. (Pissed Off & Don't Give a ____)... Driving a Z with a wet ass because you cracked a window and the asshole weather decided to drop an inch into your windows while the sun is still shining spins you into a pretty vivid realm of evil thoughts.

I think I might just pull the friggin fuse for the windows.

You'd think these shitheads would have designed a better rain gutter too.... wash your windows and all the shit that was on it... straight into your arm/lap from blowing around the pillar.

This damn car should not have operable windows.

On a hot day just press AND hold the unlock for a couple seconds and the windows will go down. Keep holding unlock till they go all the way down or as far as you want.

The real problem is how are you going to close the door when the windows are up?

Only way around it is to have an alarm, or relay with a fob that allows the windows to roll up after you close the door.

Car cover. I had a California pop top (now they only make coves for helicopters) for my s2k. They made these for many cars including the Z. The pop top would only cover the roof and windows. It was lightweight, easy on / off and you could stuff it in a bag. It was made out of DuPont TyVek. Thought about calling them for a special run or make my own.
