I still think about that Las Vegas dealership that had a sport model marked up to 80k just a year and a half ago.. I called them up thinking it was some kind of mistake, and with unflinching determination they told me, "No, that's what the car is worth."

lol.
Hilarious. I had a dealer here in Houston about 1 month ago try to sell me a performance (white/blue int.) at above MSRP.

the prices are crashing because nissan doesnt understand the niche demand for this car and has overcompensated for the slow roll out.. highest North American VIN in 2023 model was 2203(ish)

I just saw a 2024 Z due to hit a dealer in January with a VIN of 7559. Nissan made 2-3K more Z this year than demand. ive seen dealers on facebook with 10 in lots begging people to take them

my buddy tim owns a very small market nissan dealer that is also a Dodge dealer. not much local market for the Z where he is and this car has been sitting for 210 days. he turned down 2025 allocations but he said he might get a Bayside blue in the spring just to have 1 on the lot

So far, the lowest priced Peformance trim I've seen, here in Colorado, is this one at $49,365. I'm seeing some NISMOs further out for $10K off MSRP, Like This One.

If that friend would give a deal on the Bayside Blue let us know. That's right up my alley if it's a 6 speed

he could probably order you one for a good deal if it had a deposit and if its presold. I just get the feeling he isnt in a rush to get many more Z for his inventory

Seeing this makes me upset… but can’t look back now!

I picked my new Z up on Saturday, dealer discounted it nearly $7k. Overall, I like it, but do miss some features from the Mustang I traded in. Heated steering wheel, magnetic ride, dual mode exhaust, and B&O sound system will be missed. I am surprised that at the price point, the Z is lacking auto bright lights and auto windshield wipers. I am also disappointed with Nissan for shortchanging the trunk area. There is a large volume of wasted space filled with Styrofoam. Could have offered a nice hidden storage compartment since everything is exposed through rear glass. It does remind me of the 2007 BMW M coupe I had.

Tried to get a Blue/Blue Performance 6MT in Tennessee on 12/30 but the lowest the dealer would go is $54,813 OTD.

I love the Z but it is over priced by Nissan and languishing on dealer lots. Last report I saw said a 350 day supply.

I want a Z Perfomance at $50k ($45 would be even better) OTD. IMO that is fair for a car that isn’t a segment leader (FWIW I like the non-segment leading vibe of the car, I don’t want a Ford or BMW)

I sold my 23 Z like 8 months ago and have regretted it ever since. Bought a 2SS 1LE Camaro and have been in that since. Found a white/blue '24 for $45k in Texas and pounced a couple of days ago.

Camaro is gone and second Z is parked nicely in the garage.

What package/color combo was your first one? What made you sell?

I had searched a 300-mile radius from my house and only found a few under $48k. However, when I inquired for out the door pricing the price rarely matched advertised amount. Always some dealer add on or mark ups. I did finally find the one I bought in Greenville NC and was surprised that the out the door price quoted was $1k below what was advertised, and they gave me a decent trade in with only sharing pictures of it. Local dealer was a scam, none of numbers on the pricing sheet cam e anywhere close to reality or advertised price. Plus, it was being sold as used even though it only had 30 miles on it. Apparently, it was bought at auction out of New Jersey. So, I passed on it.
