It's been beaten to death already that the bronze wheels are NOT going to be an available option (same with the yellow calipers, yellow interior, and everything else that's exclusive to the Proto).
The only yellow in the interior is the stitching on the black leather seats.

So if I have this right, if you do a Canadian pre-order at a dealer prior to or on Feb 2, and you are first in the queue, you just have to accept the one they get, or lose your deposit? Hardly seems worth the gamble, the odds are far from favourable for trim plus transmission plus paint choice - unless you are guaranteed to get your deposit back I would not touch this.
You do not have this right. I ordered what I wanted.

I confirm this

. You order exactly what you want.
What'd you go with?

I went boulder grey with blue leather interior, performance MT.

I was disappointed that you couldn't get blue interior on the gunmetal metallic, but it's not the end of the world.

Neat, but since the dealer is just being given a random first car it appears you are very likely not to get a car from the first allocation (?)

That’s what I asked the guy. But he said if there is only 1 car, they would prob get that one car. Lots of speculation but let’s see what happens

Nice choice!
Went with yellow performance package and only choice is black leather.

Why are you under the impression that it's random?

I doubt you can delete heated seats on the Performance model as they are standard and not optional based on the specs released last Aug for the US. It's been discussed and the last we heard was heated only, no ventilated or cooled seats. This info was passed on by Nissan NA's Director of Corporate Communications, Dan Passe:

Bahhhh!!!

Is replacing an open diff with an aftermarket LSD a reasonable mod? LSD is really the only thing the Performance trim has that I'd want to pay extra for from the get-go. If it's not a wildly expensive mod, then I'd be 100% sold on getting the Sport instead.

edit: I dunno, I keep going back n' forth. I guess it will depend entirely on what the price of the Performance ends up being. If it's $45k, then I think it's worth it, considering the other stuff you're getting. But $50k? hmmmmmm...

Yes, I would say it's a reasonable mod. A number of cars come to mind that have an open diff from the factory, even on the highest trim, with aftermarket LSD's available. I'm not sure what's all involved on a 370z but with a quick search I see some options ranging from around $1200-1500 for just the diff. Based on my experience with other cars I'd probably budget at least $2k for this if I'm paying for labor, though it's definitely possible to end up cheaper.

Like you said, it depends on how much more expensive the Performance model is over the Sport and what you care about. If it's just a $5k difference then I'm sure the Performance model is worth it to a lot people as you get a LSD plus different brakes, sport suspension (per US spec sheet), wheels, front and rear spoilers, heated seats, steering wheel, larger screen w/nav, audio system and probably at least 5 other things compared to the Sport. That seems like a lot to me which is why I think the difference will be more than $5k but we'll see.

If you don't care about any of that other stuff then getting the Sport and adding a LSD should no doubt prove to be the cheaper option.

Because it was posted here that dealers were told they would be getting only one car and they could be getting anything, sport or performance, AT or MT. So if that is right (a big if) it seems that they'd get no say in what they recieve.

Plus this will be the lighter setup, esp if you're going aftermarket for other upgrades like wheels, coilovers, etc. I've been weighing this out also. But for street use still think you can't beat the Performance content betw $5-10K difference; all matched content under warranty.
