Yeah, that's more from the YouTube commentators and some of the automotive journalists than from the general public, in my experience. Most people are pretty excited to see the Z in the metal. The car has great curb appeal.
It may be a re-skin but at the very least it's a highly cool one...
My experience has been one of the Z getting significant daily attention, even in Naples. I suspect that at least part of this is due to the fact that my paint spec can be seen from low orbit.
I am actually curious if there was any consideration given to the notion of relative "rarity" among the model years and colors when Nissan was updating the paint offerings. I kind of doubt it but, given the state of the initial rollout and the overall scarcity of Zs on the road, it might end up...
Aren't these simply brush guards?
Mine drag around my tennis community due to the drainage gullies everywhere and the steep angles they create at perpendicular roadway meetings, but I imagine their purpose is to alert the driver to potentially damaging angles of ascent/descent.
Also, last weekend quickly became a photo shoot. I anticipate this being a common theme for a while. Anyone else gone through this phase? ?
As well surely all know/experience, the Z's overall rarity makes it quite the attention-magnet. Best moment from the first weekend with the Proto was being...
I actually traded it in, surprisingly. There was a brief period of consideration as to keeping it but I decided to part ways with the past, per se. It was pretty bittersweet.
That's what I figured - the Ikazuchi is a "banana-yellow" metallic paint, and the Chicane is a non-metallic "mustard" tone more similar to the MKV Supra's yellow offering.
Exactly my thoughts! This was a pretty strange oversight by Nissan. I feel like there's easy money to be made by offering more of these "heritage" packages, as well, even just in terms of color combinations and decal packages. Like do an emerald green with a tan interior (or at least tan...
Now we just need New Sight Orange to be available as a color across the general range. And they should add in a green, while they're at it (enough with the grayscale!) ? ?
Finally saw one in Naples - Rosewood Performance specification. Not my ideal color for the vehicle but it is nice-looking in the metal. Oddly, all of the Zs - and I mean *all* of the Zs - I find for sale within a 300 mile radius (not accounting for those with dealer markups, I won't even...
