  1. What did you do with your Z today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Yep, it's the tires. Installing Conti ExtremeContact Sport 02s cured that to a large extent. You have to seriously provoke it to break those loose on the street (at least on the factory tune).
  2. How fast is a stock Z really?

Stock Z + stickier tires = surprisingly quick from a dig (assuming you have decent launch technique). Even while being a bit derisive, Car & Driver and Motor Trend acknowledged that traction was holding the car back more than power. Now, some of that is due to the softer suspension setup on...
  3. 2026 Nissan Z Pricing Heritage Starts at $57,155

That's definitely my assumption but it's difficult to tell. Sort of bums me out, since it makes them a bit less unique on my Z, but life moves on 🤷‍♂️
  4. Breaking News! Midnight Purple RZ34 has arrived

Well, this was bound to happen. Not too bad, though I feel like they could have maybe gone a bit further with some unique details. What do we think? https://www.jalopnik.com/1963166/2026-nissan-z-heritage-edition-purple/
  5. POST YOUR FAVORITE PICTURE OF YOUR Z

I'll expect royalties once that finally releases!
  6. POST YOUR FAVORITE PICTURE OF YOUR Z

Oh, man, there are so many. Perhaps too many 😂
  7. How does this 2025 Bayside Blue have the Blue interior?

Yep, we've seen this phenomenon before - like the ketchup and mustard Zs that were out there in the 2023 model year.
  8. What's the story on high mileage Z's 2023+?

Same. My god, are they superior.
  9. What's the story on high mileage Z's 2023+?

You will absolutely be fine, the factory rubber was a gross miscalculation on the Z. The vehicle drives completely differently with quality tires (Conti ExtremeContacts, PS4s seem especially well-suited).
  10. Shift Indicator Light Malfunction - Sport Meter View

Hmmm, I a) wasn't aware that one could change the colors for the shift indicator (I figured it always went green-yellow-red) and b) I'm not sure what this "secret menu" is or what it would do...
  11. Shift Indicator Light Malfunction - Sport Meter View

Definitely, I'm going to mess with it endlessly in the garage this evening prior to storming in there ? I really appreciate the suggestions, folks here are extremely supportive of the community and it's something to be proud of and thankful for ?
  12. Shift Indicator Light Malfunction - Sport Meter View

Oh, I had, yes! When you set it to "off" the actual bar disappears from the screen whereas mine is present but simply not animating.
  13. Shift Indicator Light Malfunction - Sport Meter View

Bah, nothing's producing results. I may actually have to take this over to Nissan  And it's such a trivial thing to have malfunction...
  14. Shift Indicator Light Malfunction - Sport Meter View

Hmmm, no dice on the issue clearing by disconnecting the negative. Is the duration critical, do you think? I left it off for about 10 minutes.
  15. Shift Indicator Light Malfunction - Sport Meter View

Well, the tachometer is functioning perfectly in every mode, so I don't imagine it's a sensor related to RPM detection or it'd be impacting that as well. It really seems to be strictly a display issue and only pertaining to that exact animation feature. It's very strange.
  16. Shift Indicator Light Malfunction - Sport Meter View

I may go the battery disconnect route if I can't get it to turn back on. Thankfully, the image I shared isn't mine so it's not the case that the car believes it is constantly being run at redline - it just won't animate at all, no green, no, yellow, no red.
  17. Shift Indicator Light Malfunction - Sport Meter View

Here's an odd one I wonder if anyone has experienced - the shift indicator bar atop the screen in the Sport gauge view has suddenly stopped working. It is still visible but it will no longer perform its intended animation. I checked the settings, and it's still set the way I had it (goes red at...
  18. Stock Sport tires with 9900 miles on them SOLVED with Conti DWS06 tires

I have ExtremeContact Sport2's on my Z. They're lovely tires, well-suited for the vehicle.
  19. What did you do with your Z today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

I had them installed last week so they're still breaking in but the difference is already enormous, particularly with my driving style. I've used them before (well, the original ExtremeContact Sports) and had actually forgotten how much I liked them, overall. I've been all over the map with tire...
  20. What did you do with your Z today? 🙋🏻‍♂️

Yep, OEM sizes. I considered going 285 on the rears but decided against it. It really cannot be overstated how much traction holds this vehicle back from the factory.
