for the addendum service manual. It gives you all you need for how much fluid you need.
As for the brand. I don't think it matters too much, but this is what I ran last time.
Trans: Motul Gear 300LS
Diff: RedLine GL-5
It's important to only use GL-4 in the trans, and GL-5 in the diff.
In the...
I've got the idea that the issue was skill. I was looking for an excuse to swap out the suspension tbh lol. My slide off was caused by me being emotional and wanting to run out on the track. Getting impatient with traffic in front of me. Lastly not warming my brain up slowly enough and just...
After having a scary track day (110MPH slide off into the grass), I am starting to want a much stiffer set of suspension. Even my instructor on board said the car probably would not have stepped out on me with a tighter setup.
There are SO many opinions on this, that at the end of the day, I...

So about 8 months ago, I decided to buy some aftermarket TPMS sensors that unfortunately...
I've already had a clicking noise occur when you get on the gas, and when you get off the gas. Not very noticable, but it is a problem. My issue was that the rear axle's splines were slamming into the wheel hub's splines. Got that warrantied. Yours should be under warranty too. It is a known...
Only regret is that I feel like I should of gotten something dirt cheap. That way if I ram it into a wall, I don't feel as bad. That and suspension is a bit soft.
Aside from those two points, it's been nice.
If anyone finds this thread and wants to also make their car into a ghost car, the best way is to unplug all of the antenna cables (GPS/sim card) leading to the TCU (maybe even the AV). The best way to get access is by removing the Head Unit. I would implore reading this article...
Thanks to @citrus for showing what to unplug and @Exquisite_Red for a step by step guide on how to remove the headunit, I was able to unplug the GPS from the TMU and the AV. Unplugging the GPS and sim card from the AV probably was overkill, but I wasn't going to take any chances. Now my car is...
All of the issues here only come from excessive oil pressures. With a delete, it should maintain high oil pressure 24/7, and that high oil pressure is what the engine was designed to handle. I cannot image how any of these issues can be caused by the delete.
The only concern with the delete is...
I wonder if anyone has tried leaving the solenoid connected, but install the block off plate alongside. That way the car's computer reads some resistance value from the solenoid itself preventing one from needing to tune the car to get the light to go away.
Ah yes thank you. Will be doing so. Looks like I gotta take the head unit out. Probably from the cupholder -> shifter -> trim -> under piece below head unit -> head unit itself if I had to guess how to do it.
I don't think the antenna is easily accessible.
What would I need to do to remove the SIM card and GPS hardware without debilitating the machine and throwing error codes?
Has someone tried this yet? I would imagine most of the equipment to be on or near the infotainment. I would like to remove it to disable a path my government can use to...
Only engine codes I’ve had were a couple misfires. All of the other errors on the car don’t really matter.
Even if I did take it to the dealership what would I say? Try diagnosing an issue that isn’t reproducible?
I would doubt highly that they would be willing to send an engineer to pull logs...
So just unplugging the solonoid will allow it to be stuck open? Based off what I read, it seems like it's the opposite.
I wonder if there is a solonoid delete kit just like there is a hood popper delete kit...
I'm fairly certain the heat cycling on all of the million bits of proprietary pieces of plastic is going to kill this car first before anything else will tbh.
I honestly can't see why all of a sudden Nissan made a transmission that somehow requires their oil and only their oil... I don't think it really matters tbh. Manual transmissions are stupid simple, so you probably could get away with throwing motor oil in the damn thing (maybe not for super...
