Sadly sometime hear/feel that clicking sound too. I purchased my Z pre owned it had low miles, but you never know what you’re getting. I will see if there are any changes after I change the clutch fluid this weekend.
I've already had a clicking noise occur when you get on the gas, and when you get off the gas. Not very noticable, but it is a problem. My issue was that the rear axle's splines were slamming into the wheel hub's splines. Got that warrantied. Yours should be under warranty too. It is a known problem with even the 370z. Nissan will almost guaranteed cover that (if that is the case).

As for the high pitch noise. I get that too when it's cold. Did it off the lot, and never had a problem. I just chocked it up to mechanical noises. Also, I find that after kicking the clutch it'll stay shut up.

Thank you.

I'm in for the throw out bearing too. Seems a bit premuture withstanding the clutch foot isn't inadvertently resting on the peddle when not being used.

Glad I found this thread and that I am not the only one!

25 MT sport, noise appeared around 4200 miles.

One drive link to video:

IMG_3330.MOV

Audio kicks in around 14 seconds.

Seems to only appear after sitting at minimum 3 days. Depressing the clutch stops the noise, though pretty sure I heard it briefly at low speeds before operating temperature.

The worst time I heard it, depressing the clutch the noise could clearly be heard slowing down so im thinking its not release bearing. That would be transmission since releasing the clutch will slow down the input shaft.

Transmission is otherwise still operating just as expected so far!
