To me it is basically do you want a daily driver sports car with a few more creature comforts and a softer ride or a weekend street worrior and go to the track sometimes kind of sports car?
I got the same one you got. Nice to have the power button for the auto-dim.
If anyone is wondering, because I was, when you start the car it is on. The button is to turn it off.
I was hoping that was the case because if you had to press the button to turn auto-dim on that would be silly to me.
I would have preferred black too but I couldn't find any. I wasn't going to remove / wrap them either. Saw these a few pages back in this thread. I am not really a carbon fiber guy but these actually look better than I thought. The fitment is really good - perfect.
Well they got here super fast and were not hard to install. Thanks @traska_rz34 for the info and advising on getting the adhesive promoter. Good idea.
Looks great!
I remember there was a post with some AI pics of that too...
I would trade in mine for a targa in a heartbeat. Really the only thing I miss from the Corvette...
I grew up with my dad who was a mechanic and I still don't know half the stuff he does because I went the nerdy IT route in life and work on computers. But I always had a great time working on cars with him. He also took me to some NHRA drag races which was awesome.
If your kids are anything...
Got a set of Michelin PS A/S 4's yesterday. In the short amount of time I have driven it I can already tell these are way better than the Potenza's - like everyone else has said.
Sweet. Thank you for the instructions on how you did it. I probably would have done something similar but never used adhesive promoter so good tip!
I am not a big carbon fiber guy like you said too but I was looking to black out / darken the katana's on my rosewood Z. I don't do wraps (myself)...
It's beautiful! Got a link for these? How hard is the install?
Edit: Think I found them:

Edit #2: Ordered :D
Think Z1 paid him for that?
Kidding aside it sounds like a pretty sweet ride for track. I personally don't need it but it's cool to hear that the Z is something people can get to where they want it to be.
Yeah probably something like that.
They did a bunch of little things like that with the C5 Z06. The trunk also had pockets that were covered with these flat plastic pieces wrapped in fabric to match the carpet and snapped into place. Z06 did not have those covers. So the trunk area was not...
See plenty of Miatas, Mustangs, GR86's, Camaro's... etc. on the road here no matter the weather. Right now its cold and roads are white with salt. I am debating getting better tires and driving mine more often in the cold. The cold doesn't bother me but I know these stock tires don't like it...
