The mount arrived. The parts are small and I have neuropathy, so it will take me sometime and a bit of pain to install. Not Blendmounts issue, just mine. The quality of the mount is great! I just need to get 'r done.
Install was ~30 minutes, finding the rachets/sockets probably another 30 minutes, but the Kanjo for the RZ34 fit perfectly. The videos on their website were close, but you do have to jack the car up a bit, the wheels don't have to leave the ground to get the clearance, so no need for jack stands...
Redtiger sent me their F17 to review. Got it today, have yet to open the package or start the review. I work in a secure location, so I cannot take it all the way to work and won't. I only agreed to review if we could move it between several vehicles to give a comprehensive review. I'll probably...
The blendmount is on the way. I hate the suction cups. Living in the desert ... anything rubber melts or rots away within a year.
I don't ever ... ever, ever ... tell the wife what I spend on this car. :lipssealed:
Update 3: The glare still sucks, as I said before depends on the time of day and the angle. I can deal with it for the few miles I drive at that angle. I would really like to find a carbon fiber look to cover the lower buttons where the glare comes from.
I did turn on Premium Traffic ... in my case, it doesn't really help --- not that it doesn't work, it is mostly from living in the middle of nowhere. My R3 works spot on, still no tickets, and never received a warning from the car itself.
I hate waze, Google maps works well ... my common sense...
I have been watching this and haven't seen a difference at all, other than the little speed limit sign show up in the dash ... like I care. I didn't drive speed limit in the 2003 Dodge Neon ... and I definitely can't in a 2024 Z.
I honestly hate waze, I don't want to take the time to try and tweak an app when I drive. Google maps works well enough for me and my Uniden R3 works miles out from what waze can do. The OEM ... I keep letting it try, just to see if it learns.
So, what the pictures cannot really show. For the 3 wire install, the green wire closest to the drivers side is the IGN/ON to make is work. The always on is closest to the passenger side. From what I can see, visually, is there is zero difference between the two green wires. There may be a...
R3 and I am blind as hell up close. But I am anal when I install anything. The details matter. I only used velcro, not the wire ties. I am happy with the install, but I want to put a bracket on too.
