Global confusion ... what brand and opaquiness are you using as a test case? I see 3M, but ... what type? Photos of the product used would be helpful as well.
I turned to the Owner's Manual ... the brights coming on automatically ... is actually a setting that can be setup. I somehow activated it, but found the answer and removed the setup.
I still haven't seen the original problem since cleaning off the front sensors.
Mine did this the other morning after plowing through something on the road, then the bright lights came on as I entered a curve. Kind of unnerving to say the least ... reasearching this, something said to just make sure all the sensors are clean.
Any certain model or vendor to by from? Where I live, I'd have to drive 50 miles for an 'in stock" battery. I live in a 'SH**HOLE' outside of El Paso. Specifically, AutoZone and O'rielly's don't have in stock for Optima ... and don't have any idea wth I am asking them --- even online chat.
I live in the desert southwest of the great nation of the United States. The heat typically kills batteries within a year ... I am at the year point with the Z. I would prefer to replace the OEM with a higher performance and maintainence free battery.

I am assuming that no one used saddle soap on the leather prior to the fading. My question to anyone in the forum ... how do I protect the cloth part of the seat when applying any treatment to the leather?

I got the matte finish for the infotaianment screen and the control panel. I'll install when the weather helps out. The temps here flutcutate 40-50F overnight. I did buy for the screen and the panels .. the glare at time is insanely bright and distracting.
I still don't see the why in addin them, espciceally where I live.We rarely get 5" yearly of rain and don''t take the z out in weather. That is for the 98 truck.

This is good to know. I have purchased other Z1 products (hatchback springs and fender covers) that are of really good quality and work well. Mudflaps on a sports car are just ... ridiculous to me. I use my Z daily and dgaf about people in my rearview mirror.
