Infotainment randomly shuts off

Mines a '24 Sport w/ software version in image

I have had my infotainment shutoff on its own a few times, then I have turn it on manually. It happened again this morning. Then this evening, the back up camera froze for a second then resumed

My backup potato-cam freezes all the time. Worse than the Tyson fight.

Mine doesn't turn off, but every 6-10 mins, it greys out with a banner across it that reads, "Bluetooth has disconnected." Music keeps playing through Android auto/Amazon music. then, everything comes back.

The infotainment is a solid "meh".

I've had mine reboot itself a few times. Maybe 3x in about 6 months. But it hasn't done it in a while. I don't have a pattern of when it did it. It's probably some kind of software glitch. Hopefully an update fixes it.

Version number looks the same as here (contribution by you, @Who.Am.Eye.2716, ?). I haven't seen an update in over 1.5 years, and given the recent financial issues, I don't expect an update, TBH.

With my Sport, there is no wifi connection available. OTA Firmware wont be a thing for me. Gotta find out if there is a Firmware for our cars. And if there is a site we can download the file to a Thumb Drive

I've noticed this drop happening only when I drive through a TOLL sensor. Other then that, it hasn't cut out randomly

My wife had an infotainment problem with her new Murano Platinum. The only issue was that it wouldn't connect with the My Nissan iPhone app-wouldn't lock/unlock or start remotely. After the dealer hassled with their warranty people on her behalf, Nissan agreed to replace one of the infotainment modules and now it works fine. It was a bit of a tussle, the dealer told her.

Interesting. I'll have to keep that in mind, to see if there is a pattern.

The audio gets choppy on mine via CarPlay. Then I’ll get a reboot sometime within the next few days and it is fine again for a while

For about 2 weeks a few months ago mine would "reboot" every other time I backed out of my garage. It stopped doing that after a while. I figured it was just getting an over-the-air update or something. Hasn't happened since.

I have had power cut to the infotainment/USB when hitting bumps occasionally, but seems to have settled out and hasn't happened in a good number of miles. I did take apart the dash at one point so it could have been a loose connector that I reseated. My odometer trips were reset a couple of times in the first few thousand miles. Figured it was a software update since it seemed unrelated to the power cuts.

The backup cam software is plain shite. I have been in situations where the cam doesn't even display; maybe we can blame that on the digital automatic shifter. Good thing this Z is just a reskin so the mirrors still function.

I'll also note that the cruise control doesn't respond well to quick speed adjustments. In general I think all these separate systems have some kind of communication bottleneck. Betting the new UI is running on 370Z backend just like the new body panels are stuck on the old chassis. Probably a godsend that there's not too many fancy features overall in the car. The blind spot monitors are tuned really well, and the radar cruise works great in rush hour.

After a bit of tinkering, I notice the audio issues are only apparent if i have maps open (with navigation active). If I change the screen in CarPlay to "now playing" there is no issue. Also I learned that you can reboot the head unit by holding the power button for about 15 seconds.

Nissans new radio has problems that make them disconnect from carplay or restart on their own, this issue was frequent on my pathfinder and the dealer ship replaced it for free. Funny thing is that I had unlimited Sirius xm because they never added a trial code on the radio lololol.

After shifting out of reverse my screen would go black and not switch back to the audio screen. I manually reset it and it disappeared from a while. After the second time I reset it issue hasn’t returned yet. Also just like your isssue music streamed through CarPlay is sometimes choppy too.
