Hey guys I have been waiting to order the Nismo touring exhaust for a while since it’s on back order and I was looking today and I found a version 2 of it was wondering what they changed if anything part number are B0100-RZ34S2 For the new one and B0100-RZ34S for the old one none of the listings have pictures of the new one so I’m very curious about it.
Where did you find this? It may be different for aftermarket, but for OEM parts, the part number is always exactly 10 digits long. And if there is ANY change to the part, it requires a new part number; almost always an incremental change to the last five digits. I work closely with the design change group that coordinates this. All that to say, the “2” may just be a vendor suffix or something. If it was an actual new part, I would expect the part number to be changed to B0100-RZ34T, or something like that. Our inventory systems only accept 10 digits. If you enter anything longer, it just ignores any extra digits. But, again, it could be different for aftermarket. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is on the official Nissan USA parts website. You can see even in the name it says version 2

Hopefully they (Nissan + Borla) updated it from 2.25" to 2.50" diameter piping!

I think it’s 2.25. The only to get Borla 2.5 is to buy the Borla. To me, who cares if it’s pretending to be Nismo. 🤷🏻‍♂️

That's too bad...and if so, still a deal breaker IMO.

I agree. I think the sweet spot is duel 2.5”. Personally I wouldn’t get hung up on the Nismo name plate on a product. Especially when we know that these Nismo parts are not truly Nismo. What’s funny is I bet in other markets they probably want the US manufacturer parts and then in the US people want JDM. The Nismo branded Borla are probably designed duel 2.25” for noise reduction so it can be added by the dealer and meet noise requirements right off the show room floor. It’s weird how there are popularity differences within different circles. In the Q50/ Q60 world, Fast Intentions is the coveted exhaust but over here I would say AWE is probably the most popular. People want what they think other people think is cool a lot of times. It’s also crazy how so many think that if a product costs the most then it’s got to be the best. This can be true but a lot of times it’s not the case.

You will not regret it. And it looks amazing. Zero drone. Pops and burbles on throttle release. I don’t know why there isn’t more information about it online.

A car guy at my local shop recommended it over the Nismo or AWE (which I was going to get). He said Magnaflow makes 6 cylinder motors sound great with deep tone. I trusted him and cancelled my AWE track order because the drone is apparently not ideal. I think the Nismo track has the same issues, and if you want deeper tone you will love Magnaflow over the Nismo touring offering.
Thank you for posting about the MagnaFlow SPEQ. This is exactly what I am looking for. I life is too short to tolerate a raspy, droning exhaust system.

Me Cracker I have one FS in Houston. Less than 5k miles on it. Just saying
Appreciate the offer but I actually put Houston in the rearview a little over 2 months ago! Luckily it was just a short stop along the way for me. 385 days...but who was counting?

Crazy to think in that time I built a house, bought the Z, modded the Z, then sold the house & moved!

Those J-pipes work well too, I have a Magnaflow with them on my wife's Wrangler.
