I can see this new 'Z' front emblem working well on the nose of Zs that are Black (and also possibly other very dark colors such as Rosewood), but placed on any Zs that are lighter in color I'm afraid it's going to look like an odd black dot on the nose. If the center area of the emblem's circle was design open like it is on NISSAN emblem instead of filled with black then it would definitely work on any color Z.
Youre not wrong. I had the same thought last yr with blacking out the front emblem. It would look out of place on the front. Did the back instead.

I still want to see the new emblem in person on a Blue Z. That would give me a 👍🏽 or 👎🏽 on the Z emblem on blue

The silver Hamburger sticks out like a booger lol. I rather have the black Z logo, as soon as it is available I'm modding and swapping it out on the nose. the Z logo looks like it will fit in the inner ring of the hamburger Nissan logo. you may have to shave the indents to make it fit though. the bumper is plastic so a straight razor will easily cut them off and not have any issues once the newer 2027 retro Z logo is put on.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but there is no indentation for the badge on the non-Nismo bumpers. It's just flat and smooth behind the badge. There are two little "nubs" that stick up that fit into the notches of the emblem. You shouldn't need to do any cutting, it's a direct swap. That said, there is a surprising amount of wiggle room even with the alignment nubs. It took some effort to get the badge on my heritage bumper straight.

Here is what the non-Nismo bumper looks like behind the badge:

Did you have to alter any knubs?

havent gotten it yet but I wouldnt think so because since its going on the NISMO there were no changes made to the NISMO bumper. I think the reason the japanese owner had that small miss alignment as the nubs from the 2027 Z and his could have been like a milimeter off or his badge was just off some how. I dont anticiapte that for the NISMO but if it is I see what he did he just snipped the top edge of the nub off so he could align it a hair more straight

yup only floss and started at the thin edges and worked down. used a whole thing of floss because it kept fraying but was actually super easy. thats the reason I went ahead and did it was I was curious if it would be a pain where I needed a hairdryer and tools. didnt even need goo gone for the residue it came off with rubbing it with my fingers then some glass cleaner on a towl.

as for flush so yes I did notice the nissan logo is arched a little. but i think with the 3M tape the flush wont be an issue. we only have that one report of the guy from japan saying the non nismo was slightly off but that doesnt look like a big deal. I should get mine end of the week

if I had to guess I would day NISMO owners its just a stick on. for non nismo its possible that according to the japanese owners X post maybe the mold of the new facelift bumper tilts those nubs like a millimeter?

I remembered I kept my Z from when I put the fairlady Z badge on my old performance and stuck it there just for a pic. this would actually be clean if there were no nubs

Nengun has this listed now, but after shipping and duties it’s $80. 😬 I wonder how long until it’s readily available in the US? I’m impatient, I might pay $40 extra to get it now…
