I've been declining extended warranties on my vehicles since 1995.I've researched extended warranties, but right now, I'm thinking no. I'll just pay for any issues until I replace her.
Still so much fun to drive.
Unless you can get your money back if an extended warranty goes unused by term expiration, this has saved me tons of money. I've never had a vehicle outside of factory warranty make me regret it.
Of course, modern cars are different, I may consider an extended warranty in the future if I ever lose my butt on a major repair. I have a '21 Titan and being a modern vehicle, there's too much expensive crap under the hood compared to my previous vehicles. My factory warranty expired last month and I'm on my own now. I plan on getting a different truck in 10 years (I keep my trucks a long time) and if it bites me, I'll definitely consider an extended warranty in the future.
