Has anyone done this? to find out the real numbers? Some drivers have mentioned on their POV that it is probably more than what Nissan declares.

I've seen a few YouTube videos floating around with dyno numbers. What none of them disclosed is the gas used.

The reason I mention that is from the required 93 (if I remember correctly) octane gas. And not many people have access to that, so that might not provide accurate numbers on the dyno if the car really does retard timing excessively when running lower octane gas.

I don’t have numbers or anything else to provide. I just thought that would be good food for thought on your journey.

I did, but on 24 performance. I wanted to see where it actually sat from factory. Nissan undersold the numbers, so I was happy. 359whp/370wtq.

Yes is SAE. On 93. Car had like 4000 miles on it. Going to go again soon with a few mods (no tune) just for fun. Not ready to tune yet.

Thanks. I always use 93 since I live in Fl. Haven't been able to find 94.

Joe, I'm in Florida too. Which place did you take yours? And how much did they charge you? I would take my Nismo if it's not too expensive.
Very interesting numbers; specially the torque. :inspect:

What's SAE? excuse my ignorance...

Dynos usually are setup for STD or SAE. They are math based correction formulas for dynos. STD usually reads high and SAE usually reads lower percentage wise but is the more accepted correction for serious players like OEM. STD is used a ton because the numbers look "better" by comparison but I prefer SAE.

I've seen a Z Nismo make 388+whp on Dynojet STD but then I've seen the Z Nismo make 370whp on Dynojet SAE

SAE is supposed to be the correction that makes the results equal regardless Of where u r in the country.
some of the tuners report in STD as the numbers are higher. Makes them look better.

Allure Auto Spa in Casselberry FL (greater Orlando). $150 for 3 runs. Cool venue. Yeah, the torque go me as well! But I'll take it!

Burger Motorsports dyno'd a Nismo on 91 octane and the results were surprising but their dyno is STD. Also this dyno shows what an extra 5 psi(JB4 Map 2) does to the Nismo without any mods but the crazy part is they did that on 91 octane so I don't trust it will hold up. It probably was a cold day lol.

A Dyno is a tool. No one on here bought a unicorn. A Dyno is simply to compare numbers with mods you install.

Jesus! …+100+ torques at 4250

Edit: actually at 4250 it’s about +70hp and +90tq. Still hot!
