Need help! Silver vs midnight purple Z

MNP is what made me buy a Z.

As a child, I spent many "Days" in Gran Turismo used car lots hunting for the M.N.P. versions of my favorite Nissans. It's not the same color on the new Z, but it's still pretty special to me. I'm also a sucker for bronze/gold wheels.

On the flip side, I'm hyper aware of how much I need to protect the paint from damage. Something I wouldn't even care about with a generic silver.

MNP is limited to 500 units worldwide. 1 got destroyed during transport, 10 will be going to Australia, and 200 will be staying in Japan. The rest will be sold in the US, just like the previous MNP vehicles this one will someday be part of a rare classic lineup.

Is there a source for that? I'm asking because my Nissan dealer got another MNP Heritage 2 weeks after I purchased mine. Seems pretty unbelievable that Tennessee got so many. I believe there are 2-3 others purchased in the Middle TN area.

Thanks for all the comments! I do love the silver, much glossier in the photos you guys shared than the dealer ones….but in the end I went with midnight purple! And I’m glad I did because wow…this color is so cool in person! It’s a subtle shapeshifter, which I love. The drive back to Maine was steady traffic, but any open stretches were a blast! Can’t wait to take this thing on some backroads. Here are the only photos I have for now (currently raining). But I plan to take more soon, maybe some next to the 1973 240z (while I still have it).

Indeed! It's a looker. I'm almost glad this color and the green weren't options when I got my Z. Those colors would have been tempting.

If you decide to modify it, hold on to everything that came original, wheels, intakes, seats, engine cover etc. If you ever decide to sell it, it will be worth more returning it to stock condition and the next owner will appreciate it. This goes for all cars, but especially limited editions.
