What is the assembly date and how do the tires look? Still on the original tires?I torn between buying a new 2026 z performance 60kCAD (48kUSD)or I have found another 2024 performance MT with 12,000kms (7500miles)on it.
not a bad deal at 47k CAD (34kUSD) .
A little Carfax history showed 2 dealers ships had it for 9000kms and one owner who drove it for 3000kms then traded it in for a mustang at the dealership who had it now . My question is I don’t really trust anything that was a demo model . Likely “tested “ by inexperienced drivers. How much should I worry about clutch , LSD or drive shaft damage or wear ?
I did take it for a drive and I have driven 2 other new Z’s and the only thing I might be overthinking is the first and second gear shift seems really short on feel when letting the clutch out. Kind of jerks. Could be my inexperience since the last one I drove was a 1998 Daytona iroc . Any thoughts ? Is the first second on all quick to grab when letting out the clutch? Let me know any advice you want or insults I have thick skin. Lmao
As for as maintenance, have the dealership to catch up the maintenance as part of the deal..
this is always a tuff decision. $14K is significant.
what is new? How many miles on the ‘26 and how do the tires look? The same concern for the ‘24 should apply to the ‘26
Some of the early models had recalls - the biggy for the MT was 2nd gear grind and the tranny was replaced on some..
for the clutch - drive it again in sport mode - it tends to drive better for me in sport mode..
