Buying used 2024 performance advice

I torn between buying a new 2026 z performance 60kCAD (48kUSD)or I have found another 2024 performance MT with 12,000kms (7500miles)on it.
not a bad deal at 47k CAD (34kUSD) .
A little Carfax history showed 2 dealers ships had it for 9000kms and one owner who drove it for 3000kms then traded it in for a mustang at the dealership who had it now . My question is I don’t really trust anything that was a demo model . Likely “tested “ by inexperienced drivers. How much should I worry about clutch , LSD or drive shaft damage or wear ?
I did take it for a drive and I have driven 2 other new Z’s and the only thing I might be overthinking is the first and second gear shift seems really short on feel when letting the clutch out. Kind of jerks. Could be my inexperience since the last one I drove was a 1998 Daytona iroc . Any thoughts ? Is the first second on all quick to grab when letting out the clutch? Let me know any advice you want or insults I have thick skin. Lmao

I'd go used if it's in good condition! That's a nice price savings. I bought my 2023 Performance used w/550 miles on it in late-2025.

With used, just plan to change ALL the fluids & filters early on since it's already 2 years old with unknown use/maintenance. Factor this into the price. All are easy to DIY.

I purchase a used 23 Performance about a year and a half ago. It had about 8K or so miles on it. As soon as I picked it up I did the exact same thing you did changed or replaced all fluids and filters. I also had my dealer thoroughly inspect it. It now have a little over 20K on it and so far no issues. I’m in the group of buying used as long as the Carfax or other vehicle history reports you use are clean. In the end you never really know new or used you can run into problems.

Check the mileage "computer" screen, if it's not been reset it might be an indicator of how it was driven. Example: Average speed 12 kph

Personally, with the car being with two dealerships I would be concerned about how it was driven, especially during the break in period.

If there's nothing obviously wrong in the interior or the way it drives, I don't think there's anything wrong with going with that car. Maybe you could even negotiate the selling dealer do the fluid changes for free.

I would still get a full PPI at the nearest Nissan dealer to detail any issues and pull Consult history for better peace of mind.
