Q50 60 boys have been pushing these VR30s to 700+ HP for some years now. Just look on instagram/YouTube. They did the R&D for us. Now you got Qzilla with 750HP PI&DI VR30DDTT stock internals doing his thing. Sky is the limit. Remember nissan built this motor to be efficient yes but still capable of monster gains.

I remember there was a poster here claiming the internals on this motor could only handle 500hp. I'm happy to see he was incorrect.

I'm not one to poo poo more power, but what good is it if you just burn up your rear tires? It seems like adding more power to the Z is like adding more blue to the sky. What the Z needs is a way to put that power to the asphalt. Who's in for an AWD Z?

LOL. Honestly, 400HP in the Z is more than enough for me, even on the crazy streets of Houston. Most of the idiots driving around here would be in a ditch or worse within a week driving a car like the Z with 500HP or more. You may as well hand them a loaded revolver and have them play Russian roulette.:wink:

How much weight would AWD add? The Z, especially the NISMO is already heavier than a brick $#it-house. Guessing without any factory weight saving you're creeping in on a 4K lb curb weight.

I like the Z as a RWD GT. If I wanted a 4 wheeler, I'd just get something like the thousands of wannabe cowboys in their 4 wheelers strutting around Houston. It would have to be jacked-up to the point I'd need a ladder to get into it, of course.

I think you could drive a Z under that truck.

It would certainly add weight, and the Z is already front heavy, not to mention, where would you put the gear? The Z isn't known for having extra space up front.

It would basically be a new car, and could cannibalize the theoretical future GT-R.

Probably will never happen.

I read the comments about adding more power and this and that... I get the pipes for better sound which I did for me Performance Z (rear muffler). I also changed the swaybars.
But now, driving my Nismo... what would I do with more horsepower? for what? It's so hard to stay out of trouble with what I already have...
PS: The performance to the left of the picture.

The problem isn't the power.

It's the shit bridgestones.

Get a nitto G2 and you won't have an issue.
