Can you show any after photos? I only really get the glare at certain times of the day, but it is highly annoying. I did order and will try to capture a before/after.
Yes, but they are very easy to pry off. Gently pry with a plastic trim tool and they come right off. Or if you can get a firm grip around a knob, wedge your fingertips gently around under the knob edge as you pull straight out. They are not glued. Then once the screen is on you just push them back on.

I get this every day here in FlThe glare from this poorly designed media center area is downright brutal at times. Even sunglasses can't temper the distraction.

That looks great, and appears to minimize, maybe even eliminate the horrific glare issue these poorly designed infotainment centers cause. Thanks for the photos and the source link. I'll definitely be ordering a kit.I didn't see the posts about the XPel above before posting my reply. Mine looks pretty much the same as that matte look, except I also got covers for each of the small rectangle buttons along the bottom which I thought was a nice touch since they are fairly shiny also. I'll try to remember to get a pic tomorrow in daylight.
Whether you do this one or similar, make sure first to CLEAN VERY WELL and get all the hairs and dust completely gone from the screen itself and all surrounding trim!! I did a pretty good job with that but a single tiny random hair got trapped near the top left I didn't see until the next day... not enough to hardly notice but since i know it's there i sometimes can't help but see it. Maybe easy to mist it and get out? It's about an inch in from the side so i don't want to try and pick and peel it up. Not sure, I think once you install and it dries it's a light adhesive. I probably should look into what I should occasionally wipe it with so it doesn't dry and crack like PPF. Probably inevitable but in the meantime I'm really pleased with how it fixed the glare and reflections.
Edit: here are some pics. I accidentally let it dry while slightly misaligned: should be just a smidge lower and to the left, and there would hardly be any gap around the buttons. Most important to me though was covering up that bend in the surface along the bottom since it was always catching a glare or reflection at some point along that curved shiny surface. You can see that one tiny hair bubble near the top left
Yes, it also prevents fingerprints well. I wasn’t even thinking about that when I got it but I hate smudgy screens!
