This has turned into a funny thread. šŸ˜‚.
ā€œI got this and I love itā€
ā€œYou’re wrongā€
ā€œI know you are but what am I?ā€
ā€œSticks and stones may break my bones but forum opinions will never hurt meā€

lol.

have a great day everyone and let’s stick to the topic.
I’m wondering why I don’t hear people say Eibach on this thread.
Eibachs were my #2 choice based on previous positive experience with their bars on both an Evo X and C8, but I liked how Stillen retained both the stock mounts & bushings (Eibach retains the mounts but includes new bushings, similar to the C8).

https://eibach.com/product/6393.320?epsid=3460

Can't go wrong either way, will just come down to personal preference and getting them dialed in to your driving style.

i am simply amused that so many that use their cars only on the street are convinced they need to add parts that people who use the car on the track are removing.

Isn't there a term for that

Oh really?
How so?
I drive at 60-80 on the street. faster on a track. Conditions of road surface is different. Turns are different. I don;t slow to 20 on a track for a turn. Highway 95 is nor like Lime Rock Conn.

oh wow, so one could ALMOST SAY

that in one environment, there are high speed, dynamic direction changes, and careful swaybar tuning decisions would be relevant

and in another environment, it would be relatively pointless other than to fulfill a fantasy?

Sounds good to me. On twisty turny roads I am back to being 18 and in a F1 Race in England.

Doubling down I see! Haha.
So, you’re saying that because you don’t see the purpose, it should be absolutely clear that everyone else is wrong?

okay.
The thread was started by asking what bars you chose and why. So I guess your answer is that you chose to stay stock and the reason is that you believe that there would be no benefit by changing them and therefore it would be a waste of time and money.
Got it.
Everyone is entitled to there own opinions and it is their car and money. Hopefully that is understandable.
I will more than likely add anti-sway bars for the adjustability and still want to hear what others have tried and what their experience has been.

the post i was responding to was asking "are sway bars worth it"
and my answer was pretty clear: for the street, pocket the money

for some reason this triggered some people who bought sway bars for their street cars

Not going over my head. I heard what you said but it will not affect what cars I drive or how I drive or how I modify them. I have been driving for 62 years, not changing now. I havenever owned a car I did not modify one way or another. Either for Go or for show or stopping.
With my brand new Z performance, immediately ordered the brake upgrade from Z! and have not stopped.
