Why are Nismo seats designed with no pull to access the rear cubbies???

I feel like this one was an oversight by the engineers, but we need some way to angle seats backs forward to access the cubbies. Would make them way more usable.

Especially bad on the Nismo with the horrid Reuleaux triangle. Who thought of this??? 🙃

A simple latch or strap which unlocks the seat back would have made a world of a difference.

Haven't needed to, or tried, but the triangle knob doesn't lean the seat full-forward?
Even if it does, having to spin that thing 50 times to tilt the seatback forward is still pretty pitiful.

I mean it does, just takes a lot of rotation and my seating position puts it in an awkward spot to reach. Maybe it's just a me problem

Edited/added while you were typing.
One of the quirks, I guess.
Spinning the knob for adjustment is not the greatest, but works. Having to spin it a bunch of times to gain access is poor design. You also end up having to readjust to a good position once you've spun it back, as I don't believe there are detents or set positions...it's like turning a screw, and the position you stop is the position it stays. Not the easiest thing to do when driving either. I DO know that from experience.

Pull the seat all the way forward. Like you have tiny legs and can’t reach the pedals? But yeah tbh the new Nismo seats are poorly designed.

While Nismo has the manual lever to slide the seat forward. The Sport has the manual lever to tilt the back of the seat.

Imagine how the Performance owners feel having to deal with the electric switches 🤣

I didn’t think about electric seats- never had them in any Z. Do they have driver “memory” like on BMWs? The mk5 Supra has that, b/c they’re really all just Beamer tech now.

😝 Love some Rowan Atkinson:
Mr Bean, Blackadder, plays, cartoons.
He also has a very nice car collection. You know, typical garage: Couple of Aston Martins, McLaren F1 he crashed, Rollers, prob a Koenigsegg Agera, but I’m just guessing on the last one.

No memory seats that I am aware of

Mr Bean was a show that I watched in the 90s. I didnt know about Blackadder. Gotta take a moment to look into it. Just recently found out he used to race cars. That was a surprise I found out on the original Top Gear

For those that have never seen Blackadder, imagine a series beginning as sort of Shakespearian Comedy. In each season the Blackadder’s (Rowan) descendants each experience an era which is later in time. Culminating in Blackadder serving as an English soldier in the trenches in WWI. Cast includes Tony Robinson, Stephen Fry, Rick Mayall to name a few… English comic genius, in my opinion. It just works.
Worth a watch to see if it’s ‘your cuppa tea’ as they say. Poldark is also good, but a much more serious drama. I binged both.
