After getting an oil change at the dealership, I encountered a similar issue. While driving home, I noticed my gas pedal felt unresponsive and slow, and there was a noticeable loss of power. Upon returning home, I recalled the technician inspecting my air box and filter. Upon opening the air box, I discovered a large leaf obstructing the sensor. It seems that when the technician was putting my filter back in, a large leaf fell in and was obstructing the sensor. After removing the leaf, the problem was resolved. I hope this helps!

It could be the travel switch in the fuse box; it might be 1/2 in. I know when I picked up my 23, it drove like crap and nothing worked right. I found the location for the switch, and when I engaged it for regular use, my Z came to life. The switch is a push-pull located in the driver's interior footwell. It is in the owner's manual for the exact location and function.

If this I happening the dash should give a "shipping mode on" warning indicator. Mine did that. Freaked me out.

Yesterday I opened the air filters; they're Z1 brand. I cleaned them, but I saw inside the silicone fitting that goes from the turbo to the filter on the left side (passenger side, not driver's side). It looked like oil stains stuck to the hose. I don't know if it's from the air filter oil or from the small fitting that goes above the silicone hose. I cleaned it. I'll open it again in a few days to see if the grease has returned. It looks like burnt oil, like engine oil.

Translation for those whose browsers aren't as accomodating:

"Sometimes, under full acceleration, the engine pressure doesn't rise or rises very slowly, as if something is blocking the air intake in the filter, or more likely, there's a problem with the accelerator pedal. Has anyone else experienced this issue? The car is new and has only 5,000 kilometers on it."

Had this happen a couple of times. Pull over, restart, do not touch the gas pedal. to much gas is creating a boost issue.

Members have complained of excessive oil in air filter elements. Way, way too much oil. But that was K&N brand filters in the stock air boxes, not Z1 air filters.
