I wouldn't worry about that Charger six pack. It's a horrible, horrible machine. That engine has a 13% catastrophic failure rate in the FIRST YEAR with the Wagoneer. They're putting that engine into a flawed vehicle. It's got the same bad body panels, an infotainment system that routinely bricks the car (yes, the six pack too), drive modes get hung up and go inop until you reset the battery, etc. Plus, the damn thing weighs over 5,000lb with a driver.Nah. Z prices will continue in free fall especially new charger six pack is here. You can pick 4dr or 2dr for charger.
Gm trademark Camaro name again.
Hyundai another one to watch out for!
I've owned 3 Hellcats, a Demon, and a Challenger T/A 392. My latest Redeye, which I traded in on this Nismo Z, had never ending dealer warranty issues. 8 trips in 1 year, 3 of which were for repeat driveshaft failures. Bone stock, never raced the thing. I know the Mopar scene well... and that Six Pack is dead on arrival. The base model is priced at nearly 60k after fees (and over 60k after tax). All that for a car made by Dodge, which when asked about their quality control system, the response is, "LOLWUT?!"
That, and it is in no way a competitor with the Z. 2/4 door behemoth of a car that's larger than most 80s/90s era station wagons. It's a muscle car with a horribly flawed inline 6. No muscle car buyer wants an inline 6 in the first place, and especially not one that has a worse power to weight ratio than a V6 Camry.
Don't get me wrong, I'm still a diehard Mopar fan, but not of this current era. They're near bankrupt and they're literally developing cars with little to no foresight and slamming crap out the door to see if people will buy it or not. The Hornet blows and doesn't sell, the EV doesn't sell (and the base trim has been canceled after just 1 model year), and now they're trying to build a 6cyl muscle car on a failed platform in hopes that it'll sell too. It'll sell better than the EV, but I don't think it'll sell well. Remember, Dodge was selling 150,000-200,000 units of the Charger/Challenger on average between 2015-2022. I'll be amazed if they move 20,000 Six Packs. They haven't released any numbers on the Charger EV, but I've heard it's less than 5000.
