Changed my oil, 3046 miles. Thought I knew what to expect after watching several vids, never actually seen vid for Nismo z, thought it woulD just be four bolts, but it has 16 bolts an 3 plastic fastners
Z1 makes an undercover for the Nismo that will make your life a lot easier with the service panel. Other companies make them too but not sure if they make it for the Nismo as the cover pattern is different.

I'm coming up to 37,000 miles now since I got my car last June and i've managed to keep it to only one ticket. Funny enough it was on the way back from a track weekend at VIR...I was lazy on the way home and didn't put my radar detector up because what kind of idiot would speed home from a race track right?

Well on the way back I saw 2 younger guys in a Civic SI. They gave me a thumbs up out the window and well... of course I had to open 'er up so they could hear that kitty purr! Cop was coming the other direction and I got pinged at 90 in a 70. He was not sympathetic to my argument that as someone with a rare car, I have a moral and civic duty to hit the gas pedal.

Well, that reminded of what I 'did' with my Z last week. Was coming up my hill, of course with my new catback I opened her up, over the crest and to the next stop sign. Lo and behold a bit down the road the red and blue flashing lights lit up behind me. Where did he come from? Pulled me over and said 'We usually catch people speeding Downhill, not Up' 😅 I was only clocked at 45 but at a school zone 25. He checked my record and since clean, just gave me a warning, whew!! Then said 'Nice car!' What a bonus! Now I realize the color Red Z is way more noticeable to the law....so maybe a radar detector is in the works.

I have the Uniden R4 since owning the Z. Gave my son the Passport 9500 which I used for 5 years. The radar works well if you drive a lot of highway.

Seen running topics like this on other car forums where people talk about what they did with their car and can add it to a thread like this.

Went out for a fun drive?
Met other interesting car people?
Mods?
Upgrades?

I'll start.

Like a few others here have done, added the "Fairlady Z" badging to my spoiler and removed the "Z" in the centerplate on the rear. Got it from thezstore.com it's OEM with a nissan sticker / part number. The blue foam around it really helped line it up right too.

I received my Japanese Fairlady Z emblem today. Will be installing it soon.
First mod I did! Love it!

Today I finally hit 1,000 miles. I’m on vacation from work so I’ve finally been able to drive my Z. I have to say…. It’s an absolute pleasure driving her every single time!
I received my Japanese Fairlady Z badge today. I will be installing it soon. Bought on Etsy

x2 on the R4, Uniden is the current king of the hill. The R3 knocked escort’s original redline off the throne back in 2017. I’m running the R8w.

I'm on a one man mission to have the highest mileage Z Nismo on the planet and also it's easy when you live in Western North Carolina and your drive home from work looks like this
