Hey all,

I just joined the site, and got a new 25 Performance (auto) a little over a week ago. A few months ago I started seriously thinking about getting a sports car and was mostly looking at used Caymans. I wasn't even aware of the new Z cars. I still don't think I've seen one on the street, but I must have seen it on some random clickbait list of cars. I love the retro styling and very clean lines. About 12 years ago I had a 2002 BMW M3, but that's as close as I've come to a real sports car. I haven't really put the Z to the test yet, but it sure feels like a lot of fun so far.

Welcome! Gunmetal suits the Z's lines very well, a great GT car even in stock form. Future plans?

Kind of similar, I've also had an '02 E46 M3 and now still own a 987 Cayman S, good tastes! Great handling rides.

No big plans - it's going to be my DD. Considering (for the first time) PPF. It's replacing my 2014 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L V6 MT. That was fun enough for the last 10 years, but I was looking for something a little more exciting.
That's crazy that we had the same year M3, plus the Z (and almost the Cayman)! I'm curious what you think about the Cayman vs Z. Also, were those manual or auto? My M3 was a manual (as was the Accord). When I was looking at the Cayman I assumed that I would get a manual, but those Porsche clutches felt too stiff and not natural for me (probably due to the easy clutch in the Honda). Then I drove an auto Cayman and it was as exciting as a manual, so decided that the auto was acceptable. After that, I didn't even drive a manual Z.

Hey everyone! I kinda just started posting and never actually introduced myself. My name is Greg, my profile name comes from an old video game I used to play.

This is my first Nissan ever, I've always been a big Subaru guy, ever since the first WRX, but after I fixed up a 1990 Miata, I got the front engine / RWD / coupe bug. I've also owned a super-charged BRZ and traded in a GR86 when I bought my 2024 Z

I've got the Stillen piggy back tuner on it currently and I will probably be upgrading the sway bars eventually. Really happy with the way this car came from the factory.

Glad to be part of the Z family now!

Welcome! Good on ya choosing a car you weren't super familiar with. The Z does have a certain draw to it. Gravity kinda. Anyway, enjoy it! You won't be able to get yourself!

Here is me awkwardly standing next to my Z at the first snowfall of the season. Perfect timing.
This is my first brand new car. Never thought i’d own one but after a successful divorce, i said why not. I was impressed with the car when i saw the mechanic’s review of the Z. It felt like Nissan really put an effort into this car despite getting close to Chapter 11 lol

edit: no, i’m not driving it in winter. Gonna store it next week
