I have a Sport 6MT in the US, so no auto transmission or differential.

I am hoping to add a differential at some point and would be interested to know if I can hook up the temperature sensor and reprogram the UI.

It sounds like something only a software guy at Nissan would know though.
Thanks for posting the pic. There's some info about the LSD temperature sensor and the Sport model in this thread. It seems unlikely. The Z might not be plug-and-play.

But even on a performance model, it would be fun to be able to configure the gages. The accelerator pedal might not be that useful, but it is fun.

Oh — I never got a notification for that post, that’s embarrassing

Glad for the info, and I agree it would be great to configure the gauges!

Here is what the owner's manual states:

*****************************************
4 gauges

The 4 gauges may display the following

items if the vehicle is equipped with them:

. Engine oil temperature gauge

. Engine oil pressure gauge

. Engine coolant temperature gauge

. Transmission oil pressure gauge

. Differential gear oil temperature

gauge

. Accelerator opening gauge
****************************************

It may, and then again, it may not. :)
Necroing this thread to share a spreadsheet of what I think are the instrument cluster sport mode gauge layouts for the various models.

From the 2023 owner's manual (and @Bucko's post):

Here's the spreadsheet.

What I find interesting is that the manual calls out Transmission Oil Pressure, but all the photos I've seen on the forum are for Transmission Oil Temperature.

Anyone have a Transmission Oil Pressure gauge?

It’s just wrong.

Know what, I think Nissan misprinted or mislabeled the manual, it should say - Transmission oil temperature gauge - for the automatic trans models since that is one of the gauges shown in this thread. Hmmmm

It still has the same list on my 2025 owner's manual

What I don't understand and maybe someone can educate me on this, but why would Nissan think that an Oil Pressure gauge is more important to MT drivers? I would think telemetry is telemetry to people that want it.

Wait. There is no oil pressure gauge the newer 9ATs? If you can believe the spreadsheet it was there on the 2023 9AT.

None. Not the analog gauge nor the digital Sport cluster display. I would think the ECU does monitor oil pressure so an OBD2 tool/app should be able to read it. OBD Link LX has limited telemetry access on the Z's.

Fixed the spreadsheet.

I checked the OBD Link app yesterday and searched through all the PIDs, nothing for oil pressure (performance AT).

My blue driver obd tool does not support oil pressure but I sure can obtain information which I have no idea about.

I also on a whim recently bought a Topdon tablet scanner which has worked well for my older cars. It does not recognize the new Nissan Z. I called tech support and they have been waiting 2.5 years for Nissan to release the gateway for Topdon to add these new cars into their data base.

It appears that if I choose, I may have to subscribe to a third party vendor to use this scanner for my 2025 Nissan Z performance. More big brother involvement. It is for my safety so no one can hack into my car??

Sport model displays both oil temp and pressure as will as water and differential temps. This 9AT Sport.
Nismo (9AT obv) I only see Temps. ATF Oil Temp is shown but no Engine Oil pressure. I couldn’t find a config to change it.
I didn’t see this thread, and just created another thread with a similar Q AND about using ODBC II Dongles to display data using Apple CarPlay:
