Bought a Used 2023 Nissan Z Performance with 30k miles on it for 44.7k out the door (got an additional 60k/5 year warranty on top hence the jump in price). I live in the Bay Area so I know prices are higher in general and I didn't want to travel out of state to buy a car but I can't get it out of my head that I paid too much for a car with this kind of mileage.

I have always been of the opinion that if I am happy with my purchase, I don’t care if I “paid too much” based on others opinions or even data.

So if you are happy with your new car, you did not pay “too much” in my view.

It sounds a little like buyer's remorse. Just enjoy the car, the money will soon be forgotten. Once you forget the money, you will love the car even more!
I totally get it. Trust me, It doesn't feel good for me either, thinking I got a great deal on my car (at the time) for $2,500 off of MSRP (others were MSRP +). But only about 1/2 year later, they were going for $10k off of MSRP. I wasn't happy about it, but it is what it is, and I enjoy the car.

I would pay the extra $5-7K to get to pull the wrapper off and new smell. drive and and enjoy it.

you can always consider buying a new ‘25 or ‘26 (possibly the last production model year) in a few months.

Best advise car forums / people can give.

I always get a little freaked out after a big purchase. Just let the dust settle and enjoy your Z! You didn't get screwed over at all in my opinion.

Nice car!! The extended warranty is very expensive. I was quoted $3K for it & my 2023 Z performance only had 5,300 miles.
I absolutely Love the car. As others have said, just enjoy the car, it is fun to drive.

I paid 2k over when bumps were 5-10k in California. Mine was on the showroom with the doors locked and had never been driven. I was the first one to break the tires loose. I was bummed when less than a year later they started going for under msrp but at the same time, the monthly wouldn’t have changed much so it doesn’t really matter. I love the car and I’m glad I pulled the trigger. I’m still the only one in the city I live in. I say congrats! Enjoy your Z!

If you leave the dealership with the car, they made money.

If you are happy, you won.
This. Like Banks, car dealerships never lose. When I bought my 2025 Z, Dealership Sales Mgr said they ‘weren’t making money on the deal’. I thought BS to myself. They get incentives from Nissan for New Z sales that they don’t talk about. If they moved a Z then they shrink the inventory and that’s good for their bottom line.

Enjoy your Z and be glad for the warranty and regular service you get for her. ?

Thanks for the affirmation guys. I was just a bit worried after a big purchase but I truly love the car and want to take it to as high of a mileage as I can.

I plan to put on lowering springs, 20mm spacers all around, and swaybars since I want the car to be more stiff. I don't really think it's worth it for me to touch the engine, transmission, or tune it since I'm in California.

Same here. I got about $4K off MSRP, now I know I could have gotten about $10K off. Still love the car so I just have to put that out of my mind
