Got my Nismo CAI kit and installed it. All I can say is that this install is “deeply unpleasant”. I’m not sure if I left more blood or sweat in the garage but holy hell, this sucked.

Happy with the result but would not do this again.

Are the filters replaceable or reusable? My car already had it installed when I bought it and the details online don't say. I'm assuming wash and re-oil?
It depends on which ones you have. But I agree most are oiled, so yes clean and re-oil.

How do you have any knuckle skin left!?

The hose clamps are the biggest issue for sure. 1/4” socket extensions saved the day.

I was going to do the Boosted 6 setup but decided against it in favor of keeping it OEM and closed box. The Z is new with still less than 900 miles on it so starting slow…ish.

I refused to overpay for these at the dealership, but I knew I had to have them. Luckily there are some pretty awesome people in this community, and with their help I made a set of these mine today. 😍

These are really nice. I have been looking for a set of the bronze proto wheels, I really like the bronze color!

So jealous right now. I also refuse to pay dealer prices and would love a set of these or the proto wheels. I love the bronze as well. So much that I painted my OEM wheels. Still on the hunt. Those will look amazing on your car.

Are they the same size as the stock wheels, or are you also getting new tires? These looks so good, I may need to get a set, and promised myself I wouldn’t spend any more money on my car.

I liked the Nismo fuel cap cover that people on the forum installed, so I figured why not. Well, it looked nice until I closed the fuel door, and I could still see it through the gap! Not happy :(
Here are before and after photos, along with the issue (it looks worse in person)

Dang man. I think its because your car is black? I can see mine if I try, it's easier to see in person than on this phone.
