Best downpipes that are not insanely loud?

I bought a 2024Z performance model automatic 481 miles, $43,200 out the door. Put A Nissmo street exhaust, Nissmo bigger radiator, Nissmo cold air and Z1 hotbox all under warranty. Really opened up the Z, not to loud. Thinking coil overs n sway bar. Not sure what coilovers to go with. When warranty runs out will take my car to Z1 motorsports and get bigger turbos and other accessories let them dial it in. Not to fast but some kick. Love my Z. Any info on coilovers would be appreciated, my car is garage kept and drive in city n country to have fun.

Is it going to be a direct replacement kit like the z1 kit? What size turbos? Assuming it will use the stock air to water system?

Yes, direct replacement, using A2W. They confirmed it will be compatible with factory and AMS products. They said they will likely require new motor mounts. The turbos are https://www.garrettmotion.com/racing-and-performance/performance-catalog/turbo/g-series-g25-550/

They have confirmed their kit will have significantly more power and will likely be limited by the stock engine internals, but that said, slightly detuned turbos not spinning at max rpm but still being responsive and more power than z1 kit is appealing to me. Seems like safer, higher power, with the ability to continue upgrading the engine internals to push further without needing to swap out the snails

Edit: have not actually compared the offered turbos to either the 60, 70, or 80 series turbos Z1 offers yet

For your case the BC Racing BR series coilovers either true style or OEM divorced style would be a great choice. If you track you would want more, but this is more than enough for what you're describing.

Edit: you *may* want more. I was in my instructors G with bc br and it was insane. He had full suspension setup including sway bar

Look at the MCA coilovers, they have some of the best street style that are great for road manners but handle very well. MCA Pro Street Nissan 400Z Adjustable Suspension Kit or these MCA Pro Street Nissan 400Z Adjustable Suspension Kit

I've never heard of that brand before (I'm in the US not sure if that matters) but their spring rates look pretty comparable to other true style offerings

They are very well known in AUS, but have broken into the STI market in the US, and I had a set on an ford fiesta st (fun little car) I tracked for a little while very high quality, all custom made.

Agree, and this is one of the reasons I have yet to be tuned and install LDP's. I want to see what comes out in the next year or so, now that more Z's are on the road. Once we see what our options are, I would rather invest in upgraded turbo's and run them within their design parameters and generate less heat so you can make more reliable power with less boost.

I was just starting to look at downpipes. Anything that requires a tune for now will have to wait. I want to overhaul the cooling.

I have AAM catless full dps but I know they make resonated & catless full DPs. I would recommend those if you don't want it to be insanely loud.

My vote on coilovers would be Bilsteins (B16 if you want some damper adjustment) over the taiwanese options if you favor performance over looks. In my experience and that of many others, they come very well tuned out of the box - plenty of shock dynos posted in lots of forums to prove it. If your budget allows, the JDM options are good as well (i.e. cusco) but pricey.

For sure, agreed with this. Instead of JDM (or Taiwanese), you might want to consider the Feal 441 or the Fortune Auto 500. FA has a crazy 5 year warranty I believe

They actually do quite a bit. Baseline our cars start at 375-380whp. With my setup (intake, Intercoolers, heat exchanger, dp's and exhaust). Pushed it up to forementioned 425whp, with the torque being on the low end. Again conservative, if I really wanted to could've pushed it past 21 psi on the stock turbos, but I'm not in a rush to blow them up. There are plenty folks with the same setup doing 500whp, just choose not too

Also, eyeing on the vrx60, for the type of driving I do (canyon runs) I find this would be more suitable

What downpipes did you use? I looked at the AMS Performance VR30DDTT Street Full Downpipes and AMS says for Race only even though they are called Street pipes.
