Wanted to treat myself to a fun car and while I was certain I would buy the Nissan Z coupe Sport as it is available in Manual trans, I figured I needed to give the NISMO paddle shift version a test drive. To my surprise it was really fun to drive. A vehicle became available in a different state and was selling for 20k below the asking price NEW, only 30kms on the clock & still had plastic over the seats etc.... I flew down & drove it back. I love it & look forward to modding it enough to get at least 500hp out of it. NISSAN Z NISMO 2024 does not disappoint. Love the Z community, it's a special brother/sisterhood out on the roads.

Thank you for adding me to your club. I have owned a 2004 350Z touring convertible for 10 years and have had to do some work on it but at present it has been running better than ever. I found a discounted 2024 Performance Z at my local dealer and kind of worked myself into wanting to buy it. Shined up my 350 to make a good impression for trade in and visited the dealer today. A prospective customer took the car for a test drive last weekend and ran into a guard rail. My 20 year old Z is looking better for now.

The driver's collision coverage would cover it. If you don't have 1st party insurance the dealer's insurance would pay but you are going to get billed for it after by the insurance company. Can't squeeze blood from a turnip but they can sure wreck your credit with collections.

I talked to the sales manager. He is wrestling with the driver's insurance company which could take a while. The car is what I think I want. I am transitioning from a 350Z touring convertible if anyone has any input. Then he must clear the sale with Nissan after it is repaired. The damage seems superficial except for the two ruined passenger side rims and tires. I doubt there is any frame damage. I told him I am in no real hurry and am up for a deep discount. Being a good citizen, I would "take this albatross" off their hands for the right price. LOL

Trashing a car during a test drive is up there in terms of one of my biggest nightmare scenarios. Oof.

Hello all. Just picked up a 2024 6mt Perf grey black/red interior. I’m a longtime Z fan. I have a 1981 Turbo s130 I have owned for 25 years. I had a 93 z32 vert I just sold and now I have this RZ34. I bought this car for $39k with only 2k miles on it.. I was going to be a 2025 but this was a hard deal to pass up. Excited to be here and hope to have some good conversations. I’m also a big Nissan fan. I currently have a 2019 Titan PR, 2024 Infinti QX60 and my son has a 2011 Maxima

Hello all, just picked up a 2025 MT Performance. Thought I would join the club. So far I have already installed the Swift drop springs, added a Aeroflow dynamics chin spoiler, changed out the start stop button to the red NISMO one and changed the center caps also to NISMO branded ones. The windows will be tinted in less than 24 hours now. Parts still coming include Y pipe back exhaust, NISMO cold air intake, and Z1's kt to bring the tires out flush with the fenders. Then maybe I will reach 100 miles on her. Anyways just wanted to say hello and show a pic of the car.

I somehow missed this thread when I first signed up, but better late than never?

I'd been in my 2015 Lexus RCF for about 7 years which is the longest I've ever kept a vehicle...I really did love the car, my only wants for it would have been a manual transmission and CarPlay (both of which the Z has). The original color was Ultrasonic Blue, I had it wrapped in a metallic violet for about 5 years, then I had it re-wrapped in a pearl white w/ magenta shift colored PPF about a year ago. While I loved the color, I had several issues with the film (this is where I encourage you to avoid "Flexishield") and after some jerk backed into it I had to have the rear bumper re-wrapped. I wasn't happy with the repairs which ultimately led to me deciding to start shopping for something new.

At the beginning of April I had a day off from work and ended up test driving a '25 Bayside Blue performance model with the 6mt and really enjoyed it, but I remembered being enamored with the blue interior I saw when the Z was originally announced...

The next dealership I went to had a white '24 Performance w/ blue interior and bronze Nismo LM-RS1 wheels. I loved everything about the configuration...until we started talking numbers (they wanted to upcharge by $6k for the wheels) so I left, but the salesman and his boss kept texting and calling me for the next several days. So on my next day off I agreed to come by and talk numbers again...I decided I could get the wheels for a lot less elsewhere, so we took them out of the negotiation and I ended up getting a great deal on the car and a value I was satisfied with for my trade. I have to say, while I'm still about 250 miles away from being done with break-in and getting my first OC, I am really liking this car so far. Anyway, that's my story, glad to be here and I appreciate what seems to be a solid community of owners here!

I would have thrashed the driver if he seriously did some dumb shite to cause that accident. Like I'd throw him up against that same guard rail. Hopefully his insurance can buff out those dents in his skull.
