a few years before the actual launch, a lot of people were drawn to the Z because of the low starting point (30-35k) that was being floated.

when all the crazy price hikes started once they became available in limited numbers, it turned a lot of people off.

sounds like you did great. the ability to build the car up the way you want over time is a wonderful thing.

what are your plans?

Just got my Z performance this past Saturday, very happy to be back in a Z! Coming to this car from a 2011 Corvette, and before that I had a 370z. Really need some more noise from the exhaust, thinking of the AWE since it sounds pretty good in the videos I've seen

Hello, new member here. Not currently a Z owner, but will be in the future. Was looking for one a little over a year ago, but never could get anywhere with all the dealer ADM shenanigans. Ended up in a BRZ, which I really enjoy, but it wasn’t enough to scratch the Z itch!

I have been a Nissan employee of the Smyrna plant for 15 years and consider myself part of the Nissan family. It killed me to buy something other than a Nissan, but thank the dealers for that. But now I see new Zs in the parking lot on the regular, and it’s just a matter of time before I have to have one!

Made it official yesterday! Dealer in Nashville had one listed for $7,500 below MSRP. Thought it was too good to be true, but I went up there and they honored it!

I love it so much. Stumbled across this forum while looking for information. One of my favorite things about this car is that it’s super rare. (CA- Bay Area) I am Planning to slowly make upgrade and modifications. I’m new to this whole game. But I’m super excited. Happy to be in da club! ??️

I love that so many of us immediately stuck the JDM moniker on it as soon as we bought it. Excellent color choice! The flake and pearl popping in the sun on this color is hard to see in photos.

I actually bought 2 other emblems before this one, and the others didn’t do it justice. This was the only one I could find that looked clean and not cheap.
All the colors looks awesome on this model!! but I had to go with the classic pearl white, especially bc I wanted the red interior. I know I have to up my photography game lol
