If the whole treatment, flares, spoiler, wheels, er not the front bumper, becomes the Nismo, I’m definitely sold!!!

i thought there would be more votes 'for' the flares, but apparently some don't like them while others don't think they are aggressive enough...

Never been a fan of the tacked on flare look with or without exposed hardware. I'm all for wider fenders from the factory though without the use of flares. Would be nice to see that on the Nismo but I won't hold out too much hope as I don't believe they've ever done that for a Nismo Z, and even the Nismo GT-R's fenders are only wider by half an inch each.

Count me out. I don’t like the look of tacked on flares. Same approach as the Challenger and Charger. Looks stupid. Now if it was a true wide body like a Z06/GS, then absolutely.

But then again I may be too old for the JDM crowd. Pics of these clapped out GR86’s and now Z are making me throw up a little each day. I won’t even acknowledge someone when they roll up in a stanced car. Guess I’m pretentious.

While I wouldn’t add these flares myself, if Nissan offered this the package for sale in this color and with these mods, I’d be first in line.

they may be wider than we think.. here is a great angle on the fender flares as well as a good look at that killer new wheel...

What wheel?

All I see is a black hole where the wheel should be.

That pic you shared is a great example of why I dislike black wheels. I literally can't see much of the wheel design. I'd send them off for refinishing in a lighter color.

i get what your saying...i used to dislike black wheels myself. but after a while they grew on me and i got tired of silver (alloy) and chrome. also in person, the look much better than in photos.

now my wheels are...
mkiv supra - black w/alloy lip
stockish fd - black w/alloy lip
widebody fd - dark bronze
trd gt86 - dark bronze
trd sport tacoma - all black
x-runner - stock silver alloy, but i have some black rims w/alloy lip im gonna install one day ?

I also don't like them in real life either.

However, I'll say that silver wheels have been the defacto option for decades, and now that black wheels are popular, my favorite of silver is actually becoming unique.
The 20" Enkeis on my car are commonly black webbing with polished lip. They made a limited run of silver/polished, so I have fairly rare wheels.

I do like the Z OEM wheel design, so if I don't put my Enkeis on the Z, I'll send out the OEM for refinishing in silver paint
