Well in most of my life I’m a soft and entitled meat-sack, but I also drive manual cars. Probably because driving a manual makes me feel even more entitled. Same with RWD.

after looking at all the colors available, none are terrible...infact the car is so well designed it looks good in all colors i've seen.

i would still not want black because of the upkeep. i've owned 2 black cars and though it was one of my favorite colors, it was too hard to keep clean, even if you washed it nearly every day.

I hope I have a better experience with the Nissan Z than I did with the recent Ford Bronco roll out. I was a day-1 reservation holder for a Ford Bronco, only to have Ford throw out new obstacles on delivery of the vehicle almost every month. I was slated to get my Bronco MY23 because I asked for a trailer hitch, painted hard top 2-door Bronco in a specific color. As I waited, and the intervening 2 years I came across the Z car. As a young child I remember a neighbor who had a 240Z which as a young boy I dreamed about owning one day. As I grew older I kept my eye on various Z versions over the years and none caught my eye. About 2 months ago I spotted the Proto as I was looking at Porche cars and evaluated the value proposition. The Z car caught my eye, and so yes I am late to the game, but I am eagerly awaiting the moment I can test drive and ultimately purchase a car that takes me back to my childhood neighborhood in the early 70's when that first 240Z rolled down the street. I don't have many requirements other than it must be manual and ideally a color other than black, and that's purely due to upkeep. As far as the Bronco, well I cancelled my order last week after waiting 2 years.

Mindset still hasn't changed. No compromises. Though I'm now more opened up to color choices other than blue and red. Boulder Grey and Grey Metallic looks awesome on this car. Man, I would even probably go white as well.

Im one of the few who voted take what’s available.. and I stand by it. Some colors are off limits, but for the most part I’ll take whatever I can get.

I’m so on the fence about transmission.. I’ll let fate decide haha

Crazy ADM changes things also... will get my exact taste if I’m paying huge markup.

I'll just watch the market and crazy dealer ADMs coming up on these first allocations throughout 2022, definitely not buying one. Can wait til 2023, really interested what the Nismo will bring out, hope it's just not some body kit and trim. I want at least some kind of hybrid power. Maybe asking too much but at this point it's a diff direction for me and can wait. There is no way, for me, to justify paying $10-20K ADM on any Z.

Doubt it will be any kind of hybrid, but I'm with you... can wait til '23 if necessary to get the right spec at the right price.
