Still bummed the white will only come in two tone, but I'll be painting the blade black or color matching it with the white. Either will look better than the silver IMO.
This. I wanted full white and to paint/dip the katana black

So I've seen a bunch of potentially misleading info stated, is the katana actually chrome? Its always looked like a brushed silver to me. I feel like most people hate chrome and if it is actually chrome then I'll probably wrap it black, but if it's just the brighter metal trim then I'm fine with it.

I've wondered myself how the "katana" would look wrapped since I'm not a fan of chrome on newer vehicles. I think gray on white would look good.

Black Z with brushed alum katana will really look awesome! You might contrast that with different colored wheels. Bronze, gold, anthracite?

I for sure want to keep the katana with whatever color I get, and the black roof, only wish we know soon what colors will be offered.....

If I get a black Z I might make it all one color.

It looks cheap and dated. It's the only thing that irks me about the car's aesthetics.

Even if it is brushed metalized plastic and not chromed metalized plastic, I am taking that sucker off and repainting it gloss black on Day 1. Maaaaybe if it is truly a piece of real aluminum, I might keep it as-is.

I've been thinking gloss black for the trim as well, but I'm diggin body-colored too. It's an interesting look with the black A pillar. Either are better than the stock gray/silver.

Much thinner on the Z, but it's not a bad look...

Bottom. Wrap black. Could remove back to OEM depending on how wheel choice color flows.
I didn't like the silver katana line before, but this. A nice set of silver wheels to compliment the silver katana accent would probably look really nice actually.
