I installed the Z1 carbon fiber system last week, it was a royal PITA, and it's going to be equally frustrating to replace the filter. The Nismo filter is supposedly a lot easier to replace.

Boosted6 and Armaspeed also have intakes.

Ill have a full review of the Armaspeed intakes this week. Pretty excited.

I have the Z1 CF intakes and I would not get them again or recommend them. There is a serious design flaw IMO. Where the clamp attaches to the air filter. It has no lip to protect it from being pulled off. All the competitors have a raised edge to help prevent this, as with nearly every mounting location for ANY hose.

The reason this happens is because they make you reuse the factory piece that has a special 3 point locking clip. The silicone hose they provide can not reuse this part. Ive considering using the factory hose if it will work but ive been to lazy to try.

If it were not for my OCD and wanting CF accents under the hood I would of already ditched them. I will probably get the GroupeM ram air system eventually.

If you want to actually hear your intakes, go with the Boosted 6 Intakes. I'm running the AMS intakes and they are nice but I don't hear much induction noise.

This video will probably help you with your choice

Boosted 6 is nice sounding and power.
I got z1 CF and they look amazing. Works well.

i may switch them to AMS as I have many AMS parts already. But you can’t go wrong either either

Yeah they are quite audible, look great as well!

Another option is Armaspeed if you're looking for noise, they are pretty loud.

gruppe M makes a very badass looking ram air style intake in carbon fiber. You’re gonna end up paying like $2000+ USD for it though.
