The suspension for every Z34 and RZ34 is the same thing with minor tweaks to spring rate and damping

the physical dimensions are the same so you can literally slap any OEM spring from a 2009 370Z to a 2027 Z, for any trim, from any country on and it would fit fine

that also seems like a ridiculous waste of time
Why is it a waste of time? My goal is to rid of wheel well gap - some, not slammed.

because they seem incompetent , as evidenced by being still an issue
Are you kidding me? That “stamp” could apply to the dealer that sold this all to me. This dealer, local to me, has been good so far. Communication is fluid and I made clear to them - take your time. Sort it and then drive it a while to be sure. Patience is a virtue…

coils, aircups, all the arms, wheel/tires
its not a secret
Then why did the selling dealer have such an issue if they were “NISMO AND Z1 certified” to handle these parts? It’s a rhetorical question, but remains the same - the core of my frustrations, too…! It shouldn’t be this hard…

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but you shouldn't have to modify anything to add lowering springs, unless it's recommend to shave the bump stops.
I can't speak for non-NISMOs but I have to baby mine in spots to keep from scraping and I'm still at factory height. I assume there's a tad more room on the Sport/Perf/Heritage, but if so, not much.
When I measured the front bumper. From fender/headlight of the wheel well to the bottom of the bumper. The Nismo, Sport, Perf all measured the same. The Nismo ground effects design makes it look lower.

TBH, hire the right people for the job. Not a company that is a, "jack of all trades, master of none".

If it was me. I would have attached a camera to the lower and upper control arms while driving. This is going to be the best to identifying where the noise is coming from.

Im still leaning towards the suspension wasnt preloaded when they bolted them to the Z. Torque, now that is a good question if the techs are actually using a Torque Wrench, or was it UGGA DUGGA Goodentite method. Im hoping for the former, but leaning towards the latter.

And if it makes noise on the new set, its an installation issue, not hardware.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

sorry

what the fuck do you think Nismo and Z1 certified means?

you think Z1 and Nismo flew some techs to Wooster Ohio to inspect the facility and train the staff?

c'mon bro have a little bit of reality

you are relying on the same people the fucked up the install to fix the issue

if a plumber comes to fix your pipes and your house gets flooded, maybe you shouldn't rely on that plumber to find the leak and plug it?

Dude, I don't appreciate you tact. Read the post again and sober up. The selling dealer, outside of State, did the install. The local dealer, to me, is trying to sort their issues. They are engaged, helpful and communicative.

Why take the time to reply and be an a$$hole? Move on down the road, sir...

While it's all under warranty and you have the dealership(s) engaged, I think you're following the right path. Sometimes this happens when modifying a car regardless of brand. I was there with my C8 and the optional GM Borla exhaust system. Hell, I did it numerous times on my Evo IX with clutches and my Evo X with turbos. Prototype, test, lean, move on!

I am not being stupid. I am being logical about time, resource, $ and warranty. Stop replying to the post as you are adding absolutely nothing valuable.

Nismo coil overs. I dropped the car as you can see, I have it set fairly soft it rides well it’s factory and reliable. It’s factory fits of no noise clunks bumps or anything else.

Second this, I put the Nismo coil overs on a performance model - rides great and is adjustable to your liking. I used sport-springs on a previous car and didn’t love the ride - ride height is what it is. Not worth the difference in savings IMO

Wouldn’t two installing NIssan dealers be competent enough to solve for this? Why does a speciality shop even come into play with a car with little miles and OEM, Nissan, parts become an issue?
