Is that OEM nissan glass?
my insurance is 100% coverage for windshields. This is one of my biggest fears, second to the hood poppers.

satellite just did my taco with aftermarket glass and it sucks - it has a slight hump in the middle, a blue hue to the tint across the top. gasket is different from OEM and not even all away around the windshield. i can only guess how good they are at recalibrating the camera \ radar sensor.

Since I’ve had my Z, I’ve kept my active cruise control forward distance set at max distance, three bars. Knock on wood, after over a year of owning the Z, I have yet to get any little dings on the front nose. It still looks great.

I’m hoping it’ll help with diminishing any windshield damage chances, too. Virtually every time I’ve had windshield damage, it was from a truck kicking up a rock at me. They can throw rocks from a good distance but the further I can stay in back of them the better.

I've got 2 chips in my windshield. About 60 seconds apart. One of them bad enough I paid to have repaired so it wouldn't spiderweb on me.

Dump truck or semi going the other way on a country road. I was so mad, I made a u-turn to get the plate or see if there was a "How's my driving" sticker so I could call. I've heard sometimes they'll pay for a windshield.

I made the U-turn and accelerated hard to catch up due to traffic...and got hit by another rock from a different semi going the other way again.

I was fit to be tied.
