Did you have to do any cutting for the dipstick?
Yup it was easier than I expected. It took me literally 5 minutes. I took a decent sized cutting pliers and first crack the yellow handle with pressure from the tools clamping power then I took the same pliers and cut the tip the handle resided on and the new piece just slipped on and I used the allen wrench provided to tighten the two bolts in the Z spec handle.

Dammit man! I guess I should be thankful they haven't revved at me yet, I'm not sure I could hide my expression! 🤣
Ha! I was driving the Z this morning. I noticed an unusual number of black, jacked up pickups on the drive, even for Texas. It must be goth Cowboy day. ;)

2/4 delivered, FedEx is taking their sweet time. Tire has been in my state since Wednesday last week.

265 tire looks good, width-wise. But compared to the stock tire on the rim, width looks exactly identical. To whomever I was talking to earlier about fender clearance...

FedEx has become a complete joke in my area. One of my recent deliveries was delayed numerous times, with every possible excuse they could come up with, other than complete incompetence.

1/4 of my order got delivered today.

Went with 265/35/19 fronts and 275/35/19 rear. Really wanted wider on a rear for a couple reasons...getting the speedometer closer to correct and wanting a little more bulge on the sidewall...but it would have been like $200 extra.

This set of 4 was like $620 to my door. Not complaining.

I'm under the impression the new tires are gonna make a world of difference. Gotta finish wearing out the oem set first. Can't wait!

The deal is likely because they just launched the Indy 500 V2.

This tire is a rebranded Bridgestone RE003 for the US market.

Is this a good thing or bad? How about the new V2? I haven't paid attention to Bridgestone since my S2000 days 2+ decades ago (and have not been impressed with our stock ones...).

Just my opinion but these tires get outstanding reviews. Regardless if they're rebranded or not. The V2s theoretically should be a better tire bc of advancements...but possibly not. The Nitto G2 is not an improvement for example.

However, if I'm paying above this price point like for the V2, then I'm also probably going with a different brand tire entirely...en tire ly...oh nevermind...you get the picture

No Idea if it's good or bad, just bringing facts about the tires.

I've used these on cars in the past and liked them for what they were, somewhat sticky(compared to the tires I was replacing), affordable and durable., but they were on much less powerful lighter cars.

Let us know how they work on the Z.
