Aww we loss another one lol :(

Congrats on the new ride ?
thanks man.
not a total loss...the wife loves the blue z w/blue interior...

all the OGs will be moving on to something else because Nissan took their sweet time lol. ?
it was gonna be too long but the z is still in the cards for now...

i am glad i bought the 86 though...it's really a great car...drives and handles just as the experts say. people's only complaint was being underpowered, but that supercharger fixes that.

Hopefully all those that brought something else will still come back and check in once in a while.
i plan on staying a while to see how the launch turns out. also i got a good deal and still have a lot of money left.

i have been saving since toyota anounnced the new supra and they rolled out ft-1 concept. when bmw got involved and turned into a zupr4, i held off waiting for the new sti & z.

oem trd quad tip exhaust (paired with aftermarket unequal exhaust manifold)

@jdm-rhd Nice pick-up! That's a nicely build '86.

I just got here so I'm late to the conversation, but outside of the New Z, probly a lightly used M2C, but I really prefer to stay with a Japanese manufacturer. The Integra teaser last month had me excited for a second, but I have a feeling it's going to fall way short of expectations.

If the Z turns out just ho-hum after test reviews, my first alternate.

The CS, the most stripped-out M2, is a Rolls by comparison. The thick-rimmed steering wheel is covered in Alcantara. The seats are comfortable, supportive, and mounted impossibly low. There’s no center armrest, an odd concession to save weight, but it does have BMW’s now-excellent and easy to use iDrive infotainment system.

Being someone who wants Car Play, RWD, and Manual in my next car, if the performance trim ends up not being worth it for me I will probably just get the GR86. Maybe the BRZ so I can vape with all the Subie boys.

I would have got what I could for my car and bought a CS had I been able to justify it. Absolutely epic car, but is it really worth $90k? Not to me right now. I'm still slightly hesitant to own any S55 powered car. I am however a believer that a CS is a smart long term buy and, much like the 1M, with time we'll see them maintain value or appreciate quite nicely.

MSRP was around $84k for the CS but I saw/heard most moving closer to $100k+. Used they are anywhere from $90k-120k atm.

As badly as I want an FD, there's no way in hell I'm choosing a 20+ year old car with ~50k+ miles on it already for the same amount or even more $ than a brand new Z. If I already had the Z then I'd go for it, a R33, or perhaps a few other older cars, but never in place of.
