Hello, getting new tires for my 23 Z, and nobody seems to know what the lug torque rating is for these cars. We got 80-100 as a range. There’s nothing in the manual. Which is odd. Any help is greatly appreciated!

yeah nothing in the manual. 80-85 was what was commonly assumed and used spec in 370z world. I would imagine you would be good in that range

Thanks for that info. The Nissan dealer said with the extra torque I’m safer at 95, so they left it there for now. They said it’s better to be over than under on the torque lug rating. Guy said this has too much torque to keep it at 85, but when you get a chance, do you think you can ask your Nissan contacts ?

I just looked up some more info apparently 80 is the nissan standard recommendation for most of their car line up (GTR is 97 on a 20" wheel) I think you will be fine with between 80-85. I will try to ask around Monday also.

Thanks Matt, I know you got the Nissan connections, even the dealers don’t have a clue—and we called 6 of them lol

The 350Z was recommended to be 80.

I always base TQ specs off the diameter of the stud. So for me.....

12mm stud = 90ftlb
14mm stud = 105ftlb
