Watanabe Racing F8 Type Gunmetal Rims have arrived!

No Close up pics. But yes rims clear the Calipers very well and rims/wheels site perfectly with the fender wells.

F8 Wats got installed this morning! They are SICK Nice!! So Dang Iconic! Way nicer in person too! Better than anticipated with the Yellow So go ahead and judge for yourselves. This is a 6MT proto Z. I installed Continental EC DWS06 plus tires. Took six months to get the Rims made and delivered to US and another 2 for TPMS sensors. Long wait but worth it. The only thing I’m not necessarily settled on is the red center caps. They offer black/white as well. Thoughts would be appreciated on center cap decision?

I went with the factory size tires. The Conti”s are way better than the Factory Dunlops.

Thanks! factory is 275 at rear, does it fit fine with the extra half inch width on the watanabe or would it be a bit stretched?

Fit is fine to me. But others might find it a bit stretched. Check out these close up photos so you can decide. Actually my original intent when I bought the factory spec Conti’s tires was to put them on the factory rims. So it might look better with a wider tire like the Nismo photo.

No Spacers needed! Yes. I intend on Installing Coilovers this summer. I try to do a few things at a time to keep my car hobby occupied Also adding an aftermarket exhaust to the Proto.

Thanks @trackratZ . I did just install Nismo Coilovers and Z1 swaybars. Lowered about an inch. Car handles way differently/ better!! Gone is the “soft” feel. Definitely a recommended upgrade and so worth the $2300.
