Just as points of comparison, and not implying anything about Corvettes and Mustangs being like Z’s or vice versa.

25,835 Corvettes were produced in the 2025 model year.

Ford sold 45,333 Mustangs in 2025 in the U.S.

I feel like 10% of those are in Tallahassee.
Maybe the remainder are in Texas. ;) Mustangs are all over the place in Houston, although nowhere near the overwhelming number of pickups and SUV’s. I can usually hear the Mustangs around here, before I can see them. They’ll have loud, course-sounding exhausts that don’t sound at all good to my ears. I don’t know how they can stand driving in the things for any length of time. The racket would have driven me crazy, even in my youth.

As I read this article, it’s an average of 3 Z’s, of ANY type, per dealer, for the 2027 model year, with roughly 10% of that being the manual NISMO.

1055 U.S. dealerships x 3 = 3165 Z’s

10% of the above = approximately 316 manual NISMO’s.
On a better note. With such limited supply of 2027 Z"s maybe our current Z's will hold a better resale value. Cheers !

Could be! :) Since I’m more than happy with my current Z and have no plans for another one, for me it’s more just a matter of interest with the Z production. I just hope Nissan keeps cranking SOME Z’s out and maintains a parts supply for the foreseeable future. If they want to basically keep it as a “halo” car, it’s fine by me.

NY auto show. My bro went and sent me these pics. I’m digging the Z logo on the nose. Reminds me of the Z32

Haven't seen pics of the green '27, or the new front end regardless of color. Is that all still AI at this point?...no actual car/prototype produced yet?

sad to hear about limited numbers on a Nismo. But no matter. I’m boned either way in my region. Dealers here have markups and dealer added accessories heritage models. Quoted 60k for one just a few days ago. I can’t even begin to imagine how the Nismo will get hit with ADM.

Look Into buying outside your area and transporting. Do it all the time for company fleet vehicles.

That's what I had to do. Fortunately, I didn't have to go to far to eventually locate what I wanted. I just hopped on Southwest and drove the Z back home. Fun trip.
