Used Nismo pricing too good to be true?

I paid ~$60K for a 2025 Nismo in Red with lots of options & dealer extras. We best not talk about the markup on Zs in CA. I went to kick the tires on a Proto at the tail end of Covid & was thinking ‘no way can they charge this!’ They had padded +$28K. Pics are Jan 2023, someone bought this new but i dk what was actually paid. They declined to let me drive any Z they had in stock.

Here in WA state, early 2023 Z's were being sold at MSRP or less.

Lot's of members here were sharing the markups in their Z shopping in other states.

I think I posted here a few years ago I found a yellow Z Sport 9AT for $41k brand new.
I was holding out for a 6MT and didn't like yellow.

I was holding out for a 6MT and didn't like yellow.

Well it was a Limited Edition with only 240 Made. Maybe it’s an investment if you negotiated down to something way more reasonable and then put it in a garage & never drove it. But what a waste. I told the dealer they were insane pricing it that high. I couldn’t see myself driving a Z the color of a banana.

I remember these games surrounding the Z by dealers. When you entertain the clowns, you become part of the circus.

I'm seeing a decent amount of used Z's with under 4k miles around me (50 miles search radius) what gives?

Personally, I've never seen a Z in the wild. I'm a bit surprised so many low mileage Z's are available

Haven't you bought a Z, any Z, by now? Been lurking here for a while, like me, but I pulled the trigger last June. What's your holdup?

Was quoted $330/mo by my insurance for the Z, because my 18 y/o son lives with us. He's going to college next year, won't be at our home address and the insurance will be much less for the Z.

I'll be financing the next car I get (Corolla GR is the other car I'm considering) so I can't just put the Z in the garage without insurance, which I'd be ok with if I could pay cash.

However, my son has less than a year before college, so I've begun lurking. I probably won't wait for the day he leaves, if I find the right deal I'll probably get a Z and just pay the high insurance for a few months.

Also, we're in the wet season here in the Seattle area, so no rush. Moving back to AZ soon also, better overall weather for a powerful rwd car.
