Nice! That's what most people say even on lowest setting. What do you notice right off the bat?
The first thing is obviously the cornering. But since I put spacers, sometimes the rough road could feel bumpy sideways in a way. That got corrected as well.
In a couple of weeks I will try the hardest setting. But I've read from other vendors that it wouldn't be recommended if I leave the stock suspension and tires... Has Anyone heard that as well?

Interesting feedback, thank you. I haven't heard that but I've also never upgraded sways or gotten close to it yet.

I know that if you increase your roll stiffness on a corner you increase the weight transfer to that tire and you can cause the car to actually loose grip. So you can “out suspension” your tires. This can be done with either stiff springs and/or stiff anti-sway bars. Likewise, you can put extra grippy tires on a car and gain so much grip that you increase body roll and unsettle the chassis. Basically it’s a juggling act. But. For most it’s a non issue due to not pushing the car to the limits. Most people are after a “feel”. And that’s completely subjective. Where as on the flip side, a “fast” car is objective. Many people have added suspension components to a car and then went back to the track to find that they increased their lap times. (The wrong direction).

Hi all,

Just some feedback from a set of Whiteline Sway Bars I had fitted today on my 2024 Nissan Z. The original Sway Bars from factory are hollow inside. The Sway Bars I had fitted are solid steel, much heavier than the original Sway Bars. Close to double the weight. Set them on the softest setting and now my Nissan Z corners beautifully with minimal body roll. The way it should have been from factory. I absolutely love the car now. Completely satisfied!
Happy days to all, Paul from Sydney Australia

Good feedback @Paul useful actual experience. I'm still evaluating, a recommended Hotchkiss is also hollow, although only one setting. I'm not sure if Stillen's is solid or hollow. Weight is also consideration. I'm doing step-wise since not 100% sure the Z will be my track car (Cayman S is the current). Streetability is important too, i.e. not too stiff at softest setting but better than OEM. Whiteline is also a proven brand, used it on my track STi years ago.

Hollow vs. Solid is only an apples to apples comparison when they are the same size in diameter, in which case - solid is the better option.

If the hollow option is a few more mm in diameter, the actual performance is the same, while having a reduction in weight, which some people find more valuable - both in a weight savings perspective as well as the cost perspective, as a hollow, larger diameter bar would cost less to make and sell.

Streetability is important to me as well. I still have the comfortable ride but when I'm on a spirited drive around winding roads, I don't like to much body roll. That is now minimal. Coming out of a Porsche Carrera into a Nissan Z was a bit of a shock as far as handling goes. But now the Nissan feels more like a sports car. A set of Michelins 4s next and that's as far as I will go. I also had a STi with Whiteline suspension which I tracked years ago and a Golf GTI. Those days are over for me as I'm older now. But I still like my spirited drives ?

Same situation for me. I drive my car daily. Not for track. But I like to corner fast. I love how my Z now behaves the way it should; after replacing the swaybars. I can also notice how better tires are needed. So, once the originals are used up... I'll go for the ones being recommended here. And that is probably it for me as well. Some people want more horsepower. I am simply trying not to get in trouble with the law with what the Z offers now ?
Being part of this forum has proven to be the best companion for the Z ownership.

Pound for pound with superior tires the best mod for actually driving the performance auto. Power means absolutely nothing if you can't control it! The Whiteline sways are top notch with forged steel at ends not cheap welded on metal attached to the bars like some cost cutting sway bars. Before I add HP I need to control the Stock HP first!. Glad to hear you are finally enjoying 'driving' this beautiful auto.

I have that same set of sway bars, along with ordering a whole Z1 suspension setup. If it ever gets here... :(
Did you ever get your swaybars? and if so, did you install them yet?

I did get them, and installed them on the less stiff setting, and I think it was a noticeable improvement over stock. I used the adjustable end links. (The coilovers are still sitting in a box in the garage.)

I am sorry if I missed it but did you guys have to remove the rear exhaust components to swap out the rear section?

No just slightly drop the rear exchast pipes that are bolted on the exchast. Plenty of room to remove and refit the new Sway Bars. 👍

Sounds good thank you. I just had a hell of a time installing the new exhaust as shown on the "what did you do to your Z today" thread and I'm dreading doing rear sway bars now lol

Not only that but the two brackets for the chassis.
