So I used to have a 23 Nissan z performance 6-speed manual and also a 24 Nissan z nismo. I parted ways with both of them and got into the Corvette c8 game and then eventually got into the c8 ZO6. I really like the Z06 and I'm planning to keep it for a while. Being a car guy I can't get rid of the itch and I always try to keep a lookout on new cars and maybe some deals and I see dealers are moving much more assertively than when the Z first came out. On a new 2025 sport 6mt, the dealer is doing about 46 including tax/fees and 6.9 APR and then I see they're doing around low 50s including taxes/fees for a 24 performance 6mt version with 2.9 APR. I was thinking about going with the sport version to have no frills and something a little more basic but I realize that it does not have the LSD and some of the other enhanced performance goodies and I actually wouldn't be modifying this vehicle so I'm just wondering what your thoughts would be. Trying to go for manual transmission. I wasn't as happy with the nismo z because it's not as crisp to shift like a dct and not as satisfying for some reason along with the high price tag despite the 10K discounts going on I suppose. I did check out and test drive a new Supra 6-speed manual transmission but I didn't like it as much for some reason.
