Any idea when the 2025 come out?

last I checked there were still a few hundred 2024 Z scheduled for fall production and the heritage edition is still considered a 2024 ( it might be a 2024.5 will have to see a VIN# to determine that)

2025 is getting at least 3 new colors when its announced

Don't you agree that these numbers represent how badly Nissan dropped the ball for a new car launch. Could have done so much to move traffic for dealers - instead the don't make the Nismo in M6 and dealers are selling under sticker. It really is a shame and at least I believe it will restrict any real advancements on new models if there will be many more new models - but who am I and you know what they say about opinions

in some ways I kind of think the opposite here is why I think Nissan didnt realize how niche of a car the Z is and made too many 2024s to compensate for the bad roll out on the 2023s. there were like 2300 2023 model year made for the North America and we saw price gauging no one could find one ect.

for 2024 they made roughly 5K and we are seeing them up to 8-9K below MSRP. especially NISMOs and knowing the behind the scenes of the engineering that went into it. I dont think its the not having manual that hurt sales... I think its the price point almost 70K is a tough sell.

this tells me maybe 3500-4K should have been the production volume at the maximum with less NISMOs.

hopefully for 2025 there is some market correction and nissan brings less over as right now the Z is very devalued in the market.

The inventory is going to be nuts - they'll be almost as many in lots than on the road - LOL

Quite a few Performance Zs closer to $45K per Autotrader, people aren't buying those price points, Zs and Nismos, plus turned off by dealer gouging.

Yeah it seems if you aren't holding out for a Red, Yellow or Blue color Performance they can be had below MSRP now depending on where you are at in the country / world.

One dealer near me has moved two performance Z’s (one black & one yellow) from the showroom to the parking lot. They still have their nismo in the showroom. All three were assembled in ‘23. the oldest still on the lot in my area is 7/23. The newest vin in my area is 4565. Any idea what VIN’s were assembled in ‘24?

Dead is a strong word. Yeah, some dealerships got their 10k over MSRP profit, but now they're gonna eat it.

The dealerships shot this car 9 times in the gut with their price gouging in the beginning. Many here in NJ (12 miles from their port of entry) were still trying to get over MSRP when I was shopping in early April 2024. I got mine $2k below MSRP, and I felt like a super negotiator.

Don't get me wrong; I love my 2024 black Sport MT. I would have still bought it. But Nissan has a problem. The GT-R has went away, no MT in the Nismo.

I tell you what, if I didn't get mine for just a few $k below MSRP and they tried to ask for $10k over MSRP or something I would have been soured and never even gone back to the dealer and would have looked at other cars.

The covid "I have extra money might as well buy a fun sports car" bubble has popped. It's not just Z's. This summer a lot of sports cars have been sitting on lots and dropping in price. People already got what they wanted. The Z is not hard to find anymore either. For the money, unless you want a Z specifically, you have choices. I see tons of Mustangs and older Corvettes driving around where I live but American cars are more popular here.
